Here is the issue that myself and my wife had with this company. We took the tour and actually liked it and had every intention of one day buying. We bought the experience the dream in order use that as a down payment on the final price of a timeshare, which were some of the highest we had seen. Some were like $50,000 then they finally got down to 8k. We planned to buy it. The problem arose when we tried to use it. We called the company at the number in the package and got some guy's voice mail. He never called them back at all. I then found another number and called that and got someone. I began trying to book the trip. The person they spoke to said they do not stay at the resort, but a hotel in the area. THis upset both of us greatly as we were told by Joe that we would stay at the resort and that is why I paid that kind of money. They then call Joe Schuman, who sold it to us, three times over like 2 weeks and he never called them back. After I disputed it, kinigs creek lied and told discover there were no calls and there was no misinformation communicated to the myself and my wife. The final time they called I left a message for Joe and a "lady" named Lisa, and she finally called back. SHe infomed them they do stay at the resort and that the other person told them the wrong thing. I was then worried in general about what we were told and that. Lisa also informemd them they pay for two trips not just one as joe informed them. He had stated they did pay a fee in addition to the price of the package for one of the trips. We had never been to the resort and simply informed lisa that I would not like to do business with a compnay like them and asked to cancel the membership. She kept saying about having a contract. Apparently she thought wemade a pact with the devil or something. When a customer is that unhappy it would make more sense to just not do it. I will do everything that he can in order to make sure others are aware of how much cheaper they can buy timeshares for and how they do business. I also had a friend put this in ebay as a guide to timeshares on ebay. They use baitand switch used and also horrible customer service. I asked for the owner to speak to them and Lisa said his lawyer would call them and she did not me and my wife at the resort. That is pathetic and Discover card was made aware of that. I have since cancelled that card. I also spoke to another customer who put who listed a complaint at complaints.com the lady I spoke to told me they were blatantly lied to about not having to pay certain fees. When they tried to use it on a cruise they would have to sleep in the crew barracks and pay $800. Joe told them it would not cost them anything.

Oh of all things. I am the cardholder at discover, but they somehow got my wife to inital the contract that I do not recall even seeing. That is taking advantage of people as she is not business savy. Timeshare companies do tend to do this though. That seems shady to me on their part. Why did they not have me initial it to unless they have something to hide.

I can be a bit of hothead especially when I feel that I have been wronged. I am always going to tell people how much cheaper you can find timeshares ( you can rent a night for like $90 certain places online compared to what they charge to own one). They will lose more money in business by having angry customers. I am making it a point to go there on a tour just to say no. I talked a colleuage from my job out of buying there by telling him what occured. I am sure it will cost that company more in the long run. I may even hand out a guide on how much cheaper it is to buy timeshares second hand than through them.

The funny things is that I still get the vacations and will not buy anything from them. I also plan on word of mouth advertising. I may even tell people I see that are obviously touring the resort some of the crap they pull. They mention they want us to part as friends during the tour wether we buy or not. THey made a unhappy customer for life.
