Kings Electricians =Fraudulent services-insane prices for things i didn't need done- and left me with no ac for days coral springs Florida

 The backround story goes like this.

My a/c went out on Friday. I had another *un-named* company come to my house and tell me my a/c needed to be completely replaced. (this was another situation that i have already gotten resolved) ..i thought this was bs so Saturday i call in another a/c repair business who seemed reputable.  The guy that shows up tells me he thinks it's electrical and hands me a KINGS ELECTRICIANS business card. This a/c at least didn't charge me a service fee to tell me he couldn't help so i give him the benefit of the doubt and trust his recommendation.

So Saturday still, i call these guys up and explain that i've already had two people come out and that the first one tried to rip me off. The girl on the phone says things like don't worry we'll probably be able to waive the fee, and we'll get someone out, you can't be without a/c in the summer...etc...   she seemed very nice over the phone.   So the guy comes, John Gallina, tells me first thing...  the receptionist mentioned the 59 service fee for coming out right?   i don't argue - i just want my a/c to work.  he explains that he's the owner and that he does a/c and electrical so i'm in good hands or whatnot. He makes comments about not being able to pay employees to come out on a hot saturday and that he has to do it himself.  So...   with an agreement on 59$ service fee he begins tearing my a/c apart inside my apartment. He tests a bunch of connections...  we go on my roof (i'm on the third floor and the roof (and my a/c) are directly above me. He pulls it apart up on the roof, tests a bunch of things.. then gives me some kind of awkward summary that sounded like bs as he was telling me.  He said he came to the conclusion that the low voltage wires going from my apartment to the roof are bad.. and that otherwise the a/c is Old but it still works and he wouldn't recommend replacing it.   This sounds like a relief to me... replace two little wires and i'm good to go right?   So then...  he hands me a bill.. says i owe him 195$ just for telling me that the two wires are bad.  He tells me to run these wires is a two man job and that it will cost 650$  I'm a bit shocked here ((but the 195 i owe him for diagnostics will go towards this total of 650$))...  after he just re-assured me that there wasn't much wrong...     I give him 195$ for his amazing diagnostics with him telling me he'll be back first thing on monday with help to run this wire.  

Monday comes, (day 4 of no a/c in florida summer) ...   it's about noon and i start wondering where these guys are...  i call and the receptionist seems to have forgotten me. After i remind her she claims she left me a message - She did not--  she says she'll try to get someone over my place.  I drive over to their office to feel their a/c and find out where these guys are at...  she tells me she scheduled someone to come the next day. At this point i give up and find another electrician- who comes over pulls out these bad wires with me((the Four FOOT wires that were going to cost me 650 to snake)  and tells me there is nothing wrong with any wires?!   we return the supposedly faulty wires and i have a 4th a/c guy come look - this time a friend of a friend.. he takes one look at the a/c and spots a freon leak.   He plugs it fills it up with Freon... and i'm good to go.   I went back to KINGS ELECTRICIANS office and demand my money back and the receptionist (lauren.. i believe)  tells me i won't get my money back - i paid for this awesome diagnosis...  even if it was wrong lol 

 so HERE I AM...   i already filed a report with the BBB and i'm going to try the sheriff (they have a dept for this i hear) ...  but if i can prevent anyone from using this company than i've done my job...   SORRY this was so long winded but i'm trying to be thorough-- between KINGS electricians  and the first a/c guy i'm in the hole about 300$ for absolutely nothing ((but the first company did refund the service fee after i went to bbb))  This guy is a flat out crook..unless there's a chance that the owner of a company that claims he does A/C just didn't notice that there was no freon in the system? Or that there was a hole in the freon system?   and he really believed that changing out two perfectly good wires for 650 $ would fix it?  He even made a comment as he was walking out that you never know once we replace the wires there could be other things wrong like adding freon...  SO if u ask me this guy was just setting me up.. once he replaced the wires for 650 i would still have a hole in the freon and empty freon to fill ...  if he charged 650 to replace 4 feet of low voltage wires.. i wonder what he would've charged me for patching a hole and filling it with freon.. i'm guessing over a thousand.. but thank god i didn't have to find out

i hope this guy rots in hell for trying to take advantage of people when they're in need  summers in south florida can get pretty warm
