Kingston Rebates Refused to honor 2 legitimate rebates filed properly within required time period ripoff White Bear Lake Minnesota

I purchased a 512Mb Toshiba SD Memory Card from Office Max in Wichita KS based on an advertised sale price which required two rebates both from Toshiba but processed through Kingston to be sent in by mail within 14 days of purchase. The rebate forms indicated I could file for a quicker rebate by filing online which I tried to do but Office Max's rebate site would not accept the rebate request. I then mailed the forms and required proof of purchase to Kingston.

Four weeks later instead of receiving my combined $28.00 in rebate checks I received 2 postcards both indicating "Postmark date does not fall within program dates" I mailed both leters myself at the General Mail Facility in Wichita Ks so I am sure they should have been postmarked correctly. After receiving the cards I sent a short letter to Kingston asking them to honor the rebates since they in fact were mailed within the required time and dates.

That was 5 weeks ago. I have had no response from Kingston. I believe that Kingston collects the money from Toshiba but denies the rebates to the individuals like myself and pockets the money which is fraud plain and simiple.
