Kip Yoder - Yoders Heating & Cooling We were having an issue with our home AC. Our AC would cool but every now and then it would freeze. Fort Myers, Florida

Kip came to my house to clean my air condition because it was freezing periodically. He showed up on a Saturday check everything, so he stated. Came to the conclusion because it was raining that it did not need to be cleaned I just needed freon added to my system.

So he stated that he filled up the freon and charged me $150 the service. He also stated that my unit should be under warranty and that I needed a coil replaced. He took the information down regarding the serial number and the unit. 

I gave him all my contact information and set up an appointment for him to come back on Wednesday at 4pm. No invoice was given because he did not have any paperwork in his work van, but would give me one on Wednesday. He never called or showed back up to my house.

Two days later my house is taking over 6 hours for the temperature to drop 6 degrees. The air conditioner is worse now that it was before he touched it. I feel that he did not add Freon but did deplete the system of freon. to make the next visit more costly.

When I called to speak with him i had to leave a message. I asked why my AC was worse now then before and why the now show. 

The message that Kipp left was that he did not feel bad for taking my $150 and for him to come back and fix the issue it would be another $300. he also stated "my bad about the coil". He did not offer to come back out to see what had happened even after I explained that the AC was taking forever to cool my house.

If he had actually filled up the freon in the AC i am very sure that 2 days later I would not have been having the issue that I am having now. Did not even offer to come out to see what may have happened.

I feel that in this economy which is hard on everyone. That this guy is just out to steal from people and was hoping that I would not call him out. I would for someone else to be taken by this guy!!!
