My husband's truck broke down in Jamestown the weekend of the 4th of July. He found and contacted K&J on Tuesday the 5th. Jason told him the hanger bearing was out and needed to be replaced. $384 and a day later my husband was ready to go.

Upon leaving K&J's shop my husband noticed the truck was still making the same noise and asked Jason about it. Jason told him he thought it was the rear end going out, but he thought it would be fine for a while. This is my husband's work truck and we live in Missouri.

My husband left Jamestown heading to his next load. He got 45 miles down the road when the rear end went out. He called Jason to come tow him back, which Jason charged $405 for a 90-mile tow.

After getting back to the shop Jason told him he had to order parts and it would be a couple of days. My husband had no choice, so he called and canceled his workloads and went back to the motel to wait.

After charging my husband two separate bills, the first one $965.68 for parts to rebuild the rear end including bearings and seals, and $862.68 for additional parts needed for pumpkin, installation, and travel, he was finally on the road.

My husband left Jamestown and headed to Fargo, then towards Ohio. When he called home a couple of days later, he told me the rear end Jason was supposed to have rebuilt was already going out. I couldn't believe it.

After removing the rear end and having other mechanics look at it, we were told that rear end (the one Jason claims to have rebuilt) was never opened and nothing was ever done to it.

My husband tried many times to communicate with Jason about this and Jason claims he will make things right but we have to give him back the rear end and wait two weeks so his vendor can look at it to determine it was the parts that failed. How can it be new parts failure if none were ever put in? He admitted to my husband that the rear end that came out of the truck was not the same rear end that was put back in.

It cost my husband $2,685.56 in parts and labor at K&J. Another $315.00 for another rear end when he got home, and that's not to mention the costs for motels while he was waiting.

We are not asking for everything, just the $1,828.36 that he charged for the rear end, but now he is not answering the phone.

My husband also sent Jayson a text message offering to deliver the rear end to Jamestown, ND, as long as he would refund the money, but he will not respond.
