Knuckle Up Fitness be careful with knuckleup fitness!!! Atlanta Georgia

I registered at knuckle up fitness in August 2006 because of its proximity to my home (two blocks). After attending to maybe five classes, the gym closed.
when i called they told me that it was going to be closed for a few days due to problems with the sewage and that somebody from the gym would contact me to let me know when it will be reopened. nobody called me ever. when i called back again, they told me that were working on the problem and told they were freezing my account so i would not be charged for services i was not getting.
However, they kept charging my American express credit card even on March 2007.

When I called to complain and ask for a refund, they would apologize and tell me that they will do that. by the 3rd time they charged me with my account supposedly frozen, I called and requested the cancellation of my account and the refund of all the money I was charged. they told me to wait till after the Christmas season to allow for time to get the refund.

Time passed by and they kept charging my credit card (by this time i was trying american express to stop paying them). they were assuring me they were working on the refund but at the same time they kept trying to charge me!

every time i would call i had to start my story from zero... they would play fool, apologize and said they could not believe what was going on and again promise to fix it. it never happened!!

by march 2008, they are still sending me letters, threatening me to send my case to a collection agency. my credit is excellent and i never had any issues... but they just don't care... now they tell me that they don't know what i am talking about... they even tell me that i should have documented my requests!!! so for you all guys... just be ready to document and get a signature on every promise anybody ant any shop makes to you. imagine... your mechanic, your gym, the people who take your orders at the restaurant or coffee shop!...
they kept ignoring my phone calls day after day and once i would get a hold on somebody they would apologize and promise me to be solving the issue...

be careful with theses knuckleup fitness people... the are unscrupulous!!! they dont care about clients... they just want your money!!

they are teaching their clients that we should not trust any business... that we should document everything... or suck it!
