Koodo Mobile Owned by Telus Overcharged on bill, customer service rep yelled at me plus lied about corrections and when call back my management would take place. Almost $200.00 overcharged on just one bill Internet, Ontario

Every few months I have to battle with Koodo. They constantly over-bill for the two phones I pay for. One is for my son and one is for me. We have different needs so different plans are to be in place. I purchase ones which closely match our usage to avoid additional charges. We are both to have unlimited text messaging but an additional $60.00 plus was added to my bill.

I was assured the total for the two phones this month after complaining about the overcharges for last month including taxes would be no more than $150.00. The bill came in at $315.21.

When I called last month to speak to a customer service rep I was yelled at. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and was told there was none on site. I was told I would receive a call from one in two to three days. Well the call came a week later. Promises of lower bills were made. I was lied to again and the higher bill reflects this. I need to find a more honest company to provide my service.

There is lots of competition out there now so I am checking to see who can deliver on what they advertise.

In researching on the Internet about Koodo Mobile I discovered my complaint with this company is a common one. I also found very few people were happy with the customer service now in place with this company. I guess they no longer care about their customers.

I found their current TV ads amusing because they are so intent on telling you about their wonderful non- existent customer service. Their Mascot is trying very hard to sell you on this idea!

Sounds strange....

You don't give any details of what those supposed overcharges are,  so it's hard to really understand what may have happened. Most people immediately blame the companies but often it's a case of those people not understanding what they signed up. Good luck in finding anyone better, you clearly haven doen enough research yet, otherwise you'd see a sea of complaints about the other. I'd say it's significantly more than on koodo. Just look up the better business bureau ratings or jd power surveys. their commercial is actually that. I think they won that award this year. And that's voted on by customers so it's not swayed by anything else.
