I just want to first say that Kouri Management was very rude to my husband and I an did not follow proper protocol when it comes to leasing here in Omaha, NE. My husband came signed a lease for month to month with Carrington for the Kings Court location. Carrington was not clear to us nor was the contract about the utilities we would need. He told us it was the rent + electricity. Come to find out we also needed Gas and there is no central AC. We were also not told of this either. or that we could rent a window unit for an additional cost. He was so kind to offer us the Cable # though???

So lets proceed... Carrington strongly suggested and inferred that Kings Court was a safe environment for or family for the time we would be in Omaha. My husband was there 1 full week and our cousin was there for 3 days. There were Drug dealers exactly one floor down from us... ( that made it known he had "whatever anyone wanted" and there were crack heads everywhere. In the halls and outside the front doors.... Not so safe.

When my husband signed the lease he paid Carrington $755.00 cash. Carrington insisted it was cash. No Checks, debit cards, or cashiers checks. This was for one months rent and a 300.00 deposit. Carrington told him that he would  take his full first months rent and then pro rate the following month. When my husband told Kouri Management that he was not happy with the service or the people that surrounded him Marsha informed him if he didn't like it then he could move. So of course he did.

Since than we have reached out to Kouri Managements owners Mr. Kouri, Marsha, and Carrington to seek back out deposit and get the pro rated amount back as promised.

Wouldn't you know it has been a disaster with these "slum landlords". Marsha literally told him again today 6/3/13. "If he don't like it he could sue them". So that is exactly what we are doing as well as informing the public of what horrific landlords these people are. Marsha also told us we were lying about the amount we paid. My bank statement shows how much was taking out of the ATM that day in OMAHA NE.

She says we only  paid $655.00.... Imagine that. Not only are thy Liars but they have horrible customer service and are thieves too.  Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.
