Last month i bought a 2011 chevy aveo from this dealer. before i left the lot with it i noticed the service engine light was flashing. i went in to get the sales person by the name of ryan and by the time he got outside the light stoped flashing and went off.. ryan then told my if the light comes on again come back with it. i drove it home not even 5 miles parked the car and went to work. after i got out of work i plugged in my obdII scan tool even thothe engine light was not on i got a u0100 (lost communication with pcm/ecm) i then started the car and it ran like a pile of junk. i got in the car drove it down the road and after a couple miles everything seemed fine.. when i got home i hooked my scan tool back to the car and had the first code i got plus a missfire from cylynder 2 (not sure the code that came up ). i emailed the dealership and next moring took the aveo back to them they figured out it was a craked head and bad coil. i told them if it blew a head this soon with only 50,000 miles on the car i dont want anything to do with it.. they put me in a loaner and said they will contact me when it is fixed and go from there. the loaner they gave me was a 2010 elantra i drove that thing all over the place most of the day. mid afternoon a contacted the sales person to see if i could be let out of the aveo and put in the elantra they talked to the bank and did just that.. well i was pretty happy for about 5 or 6 days until i parked this 2010 elantra on a hill and got out of the car and all of a sudden the transmission didnt hold and the stupid thing took off without anyone in it.. it didnt cause any damage by luck the car did catch back in park and some how stop it self.. i did some research and found out the elantra years from 2007 till 2010 are known for this issue. i took the elantra back to the dealer they took it suposidly to a transmission shop a few days later they call and tell me its not my transmission the shift cable was loose.. i said well i doubt that fixed the issue but ill be over.. the sales guy and i drove the car across the parkiong lot on a small hill put the car in park and after a few times it rolled away again.. i looked at him and said i dont fu****** think so im not taken this its not fixed.. ryan then tried to tell me well u have to use your emergency brake on a hill or it will roll away.. i said dude its an automatic it is supposed to hold only reason to use the emergency brake is to keep strain off the transmission.. well long story short they said they were going to put a transmission in before i even went back abd was fed this line of crap about it not needing one.. this car has now been with them or where ever it is for over 2 weeks now and still not fixed and returned to me.. yes they gave me a loaner its a 2011 aveo just like the first one they tried to put me in only its a different color.. this thing is also junk, it floats all over the road and when i took it off the lot the brakes didnt even hardly worki had to take it upon my self to bleed thestupi things.. i would advise anyone to stay away from this  dealership where i just made a $13000.00 mistake. also they know thepark issue in the elantra is common and the idiots refuse to put aremanufactured transmission in the car.. they found a used one some where with suposidly 51,000miles on it. being a common problem they are stupid to even chance it cause after 90 days once its in andthe warrante runs out ill have to buy a new one....   DO EVERYONE A FAVOR AND SHUT THIS CRAPPY DEALER DOWN THEY HAVE BEEN OPEN AND DOING THIS FOR WAY TO LONG JUST READ SOME REVIEWS.... if i had my way they would be paying off my car loan and id keep the carand fix it like it needs to be fixed not half asses with a used junk transmission...they will screw you over i pulled off 3 bad cars from this lot in under 10 days....STAY AWAY
