Kristen Krol Debt Relief Legal Clinic Barbara Foley / Michigan Bancruptcy Trustee Lack of full disclosure and further debt stemming from Bancruptcy Atty and affiliated trustee Lansing, Mi 48917 Michigan

 Approximately 2 and a half years ago, i was forced into a chapter 13 bancruptcy do to a full disability. I hired Kristen Krol from the Debt Relief Legal Clinic to handle the bancruptcy case. This is a 36 month plan and payments are sent monthly to Barbara Foley the trustee. For the first two and a half years of this plan, things seemed to go well. Since i had 6 months remaining to this 36 month plan, i tried numerous times to contact Kristen to obtain an accurate date of the discharge. Much difficulty in requesting the information and getting a response. When she finally did respond, she informed me that my plan had been extended by my trustee due to an inaccurate review of my 2014 taxes.

I also was informed by Kristen that i had incurred an additional fee of $1500 above and beyond the 36 month plan due to her labor on my behalf. No disclosure before hand as to further debt incurrance that i would be responsible for and no options discussed before arbitrarily moving forward. No advance notice for me to be aware that her time within the 36 month plan had been exceeded nor advance notice of necessary further actions were needed. I did not have an option of reviewing any issues that were impending, no timeline discussed whatsoever nor expected results from declining her further actions. No warning whatsoever of further financial obligation until i pressed for an accurate discharge date. Of which i struggled numerous times to even get her to respond. Barbara Foley (Trustee) actions also extended my 36 month plan with no notice whatsoever.

This extension occurred due to her inaccurate review of my 2014 tax records. Rather than notify me that there was a discrepancy in dollar amounts i had surrendered for that tax year, and give me an option to agree or disagree and pay the difference, she arbitrarily extended my 36 month plan even further. After learning of this, i consulted my tax proffessional only to find that Mrs.Foley's review was incomplete and inaccurate. My surrender was a bit short but nowhere near as much as the trustee calculated. I am floored to think the very same people i have hired to protect me and my financial status are not concerned at all over my best interest nor are they capable of doing business in a proffessional mannor. This is a bancruptcy case for Gods sake.

It more closely resembles a self serving money grab at an unknowing and already broken individual thats at the legal field mercy. I have put off a badly needed hip replacement because i have no idea where the money will come from to pay for it. Now only to find im in debt even further after claiming bancruptcy. I tend to lose thousands of dollars per my mortgage which is soon to be destroyed by a Solar Farm that will be established next to my property and inevitably will impact my property values. Because i cannot sell my home without surrendering any and all equity to my Trustee and debtor will now be in jeopardy due to an extended bancruptcy plan. Beware of DRLC.... It's not a bancruptcy you can live with. Too much error on the professional end combined with self serving actions contrary to the entire ethics and purpose of any bancruptcy case.
