Kroger Store 224 3510 Alta Mesa Blvd. Fort Worth Texas 76133 Unjust and Unlawful Termination Fort Worth Texas

Dear Kroger Corporation and all to whom it may concern , I am writing to you today as an employee from Kroger store number 224 in Fort Worth Texas , I have been with the company for almost three years and have diligently enjoyed most of my time here , however today I was unjustly terminated for “just cause” and misrepresented by the union and  current management team on a particular incident which should not be a justification of my character as a whole within the company but I believe should regarded as a onetime incident never to occur again and a chance for a learning experience for the company as a whole ,  I have received 4's and 5's on my yearly evaluations and been offered numerous opportunities for advancement within the company which I refused because of my education and mental health. However a particular incident occurred on the day of August 5th , keep in mind I have severe anxiety and every manager that has come and gone through the store has still seen me as their most valuable employee, I've timed and hit over stocking a hundred cases per hour and reached above every industry standard in the store of integrity and diligence simply for the purpose of helping others and maintaining humble integrity because I believe all the glory belongs to God. Yet only one particular day time grocery manager by the name of Joe Chambers which I treated respectfully and courteously even if there were days where he consistently sought to degrade me simply for the purpose of degrading me , which he admitted to himself , I repeatedly expressed these concerns to other members in management and nothing was ever done and no true action was ever taken so I decided for the sake of my mental health to avoid any interaction with him. Other employees didn't understand this and thought I was being rude but I knew I needed to retain a professional manner and composure in the store even if it meant sacrificing how I truly felt on the inside for the sake of serving management and customers with the highest level of gratuity and diligence.

On August 5th I had decided to take a break , something I rarely do because I get so involved in my work for the store , however this break took much longer than I had anticipated and this was because my I had begun to experience an all too common anxiety attack and I needed time to mentally recover to return to work , all members of management and even some employees knew of my severe anxiety and disregarded it blatantly even going so far as to say “all I am looking for is attention and trying to play victim”... Mr. Chambers came into the break room and yelled at me saying the words " How long are you going to take your break for , cause you have been on break for an hour" I responded with an peaceful toned apology saying I would return in 5 minutes and I needed time to sort through my thoughts , He yelled once again barking tasks I already knew and planned on completing . I was provoked and my anxiety and blood pressure was at an all-time high and I could feel the choking sensation around my neck followed by shortness of breath and the choke back of trying to keep tears in, I found an associate I could trust since no other members of management were present at the time, Jabrae Wilson and told him what had occurred I decided to peacefully confront Mr. Chambers because my mind would not let me rest until it was resolved and asked him to not address me in that tone he used, he did not apologize he stated he could "Address in me in whatever way he wanted and that I should clock out and go home" he continued raising his tone at me, I had an anxiety attack, I very briefly used profanity  towards him on the sales floor and startled customers which I deeply regret then I escaped the situation because this incident is not the measure of my character my morals or my faith and undying loyalty to this company, this incident is an example of the negative stigma and provocation in the workplace surrounding mental health and I will not rest until this is rightfully resolved and I am rightfully represented . The occurrences at this store among other reasons is why I quit to work for Target yet came back to support myself even further hoping things would change at store 224, I need this job, I recently moved into my own apartment and new adult responsibilities have arose if you can help in any way to get me back to this store please contact me at (((REDACTED))), and my email being severintalic@hotmail.com , Thank You and God Bless You.
