Bensalem LA Fitness I cancelled my membership (too trusting)...a year later I caught their company on my bank account charges! Bensalem Pennsylvania

I had tried to cancel my LA Fitness Account last year. I sent a letter but it was not certified mail so I guess it ended up in the trash and that is why I was still being charged even though one of the managers (Caleel Salizar) said it was being taken care of and to consider it done when he cancelled my boyfriend's account too because he was getting ACL surgery and would not be able to go to gym anymore. I want my money back. $37.44 a month over a year is a lot of money...$417.24! I was too trusting and stupid to think a company would do what they said they did for customers! I agree with Tman's post about the Bensalem LA Fitness...crooks!
Numerous times I even tried calling them and they said it was done and not to worry even before I went to Manager Caleel Salizar in Bensalem PA with my boyfriend to cancel his membership. I was in school and did not have time or an LA Fitness nearby in Center City Philadelphia even if I wanted to. I had a gym at school for free...why would I want to pay for LA Fitness when I had free access at school!!!! Duh!? I shouldn't have been so trusting and should have read every line, dash, and character of my bank statements every month...lesson learned the hard way!
When I tried calling them, I'd wait an hour on the phone and then have a customer service person on the other end say that it would be taken care of and to send a letter to corporate stating that I want to end my membership....LIARS! They didn't say I had to send it certified mail! They trash letters that aren't certified mail...now I know...I WILL GET MY MONEY IF IT IS THE DEATH OF ME! I was being charged and never used their services thinking I was no longer a member! ASSHOLES! I have a lawyer..THEY WILL REFUND ME OR ELSE...
