LA Fitness TRY WORKING THERE Hamden Connecticut

To the manager that denies all of what this kid does say. Its true I work for LA-Fitness and its one of the worst places I have ever worked for. My managers dont give a s**t about us or the clients all they care about is there freaking EFT and how many members they can sign up. I was sold a lot of bullshit in my interview I came from a career that I was working half the hrs and the pay was a hell of a lot better than here. He is what these greedy sob have us do day to day.

First off we are on straight comm no base salary they want us to drive all over hell and back to prospect people on the streets. People look at us like you are from a gym why are you trying to beg us to come in. It looks so tacky and un professional we offer them a 2 week pass its really a bait and switch to get them in. People are fooled by us and its sad cause I don't like doing this to people. They don't pay for our gas to drive all around it required for us to get 15 leads a day 8 appointments a day and 4 shows and 2 sales if you don't do this you are not able to talk walk in traffic such bullshit for how much we get paid.

Then our clients are getting pissed cause we don't make s*** money off giving people 0 down so we use that as a last result when they don't bite on our expensive a*s prices. Then they spread the word that they got 0 down threw the club then we got other members that paid full price get pissed and wanna cancel. Our managers are the most highest pressure people greedy and no customer service skills whats so ever. They T.O our people and high pressure them that they call us used care sales man thats such a insult to someone like me and my staff we try to be the best at what we do and all the company wants from us is #'s #'s #'s they could give a s**t about running us into the ground. I myself work a 60+ hr wrk week every week and its not going to change from what my manager has told me. They work us like slaves for dirt money.

So everything that this kid was talking about is true. I hate LA they are such liars and they are so fake just cause the club looks pretty on the outside doesn't mean s**t. All they want is your money you got a better chance of going to a s**t hole gym like planet fitness and having a better experience. And if you ever get a call for an interview don't let them sell you on how you can make so much money and you can be this great manager someday its all a bunch of b******. Yes the managers make good money but the stress thats involved and the bs you have to go threw its not worth it at all. Dont ever step foot in that hell hole....

This complaint is a young man who tried to make it in the company but failed. Not only as a manager but as an employee as well. I can only teach and train success, I cannot force it.

As far as working people 12-14 hours a day, this is incorrect. Managers in the role of which Todd held work 10 hour days with a 1 hour lunch break bringing to a total of 9 hours on the clock.

If you get the job done in 5 days then you work 5 days, if not then you work 6 days, but you are paid for all time that you work, even overtime.

To see something like this posted not only brings disrespect to the company and myself, but it brings fault laid out right on the table of yourself and the position which was held by you. To post such untrue comments about LA Fitness and myself only shows that your failure got the best of you.

Nice to know I google my name on the internet to see whats going on. And the best part is........

You still come to my club to say hello to me and the staff while you go home to write things like this on the internet.

Did they threaten you? Because they can't do anything to you, you know. They're not going to sue you for libel nor slander, don't worry, it's not worth it to them.
