LA Fitness ,LA Fitness continued to RIP ME OFF for ONE YEAR!!! Portland Oregon

I was a happy member of Golds gym, when one day I showed up to meet with my trainer, and found out he was no longer there and it was now a LA fitness! I was shocked no notice, the LA staff were so rude! The whole Golds staff and members got shafted that day! I tried to cancel my membership that day, and have never been back, they told me to mail a form in and it would be cancelled, but I was still going to be charged for another month. I gave Golds permission to take this money automatically out of my account but never LA fitness.

Sending in the form did not work, I went to the gym many times, called all over, and the corporate office, with only getting the same response, I need to send in a form. Finally today after just over a year I was cancelled, ripping me off for $50 dollars a month, I called the corporate office again, told them I have done everything I could to cancel this membership over and over, and I was tired off being ripped off, and just like that they cancelled me. Now why couldn't they have done that a year and half ago?? They have made it impossible to cancel my membership just so they could keep collecting my money out of my account, which I never came them the right to do. Something should be done about this company, they are criminals as far as I'm concerned.
