Ladco Leasing, Landmark Merchant Solutions ripoff liars fraudulent theives Thousand Oaks California

March 2003 I was contacted by Landmark Merchant Solutions about credit card processing, through Lamdmark, with a lease agreement, from Ladco Leasing. I was told that the lease would be for 24 months and the service would be wonderful beyond my expectations! Ha! The lease agreement was faxed to me but was not legible. Of course I called them to ask what it said and was told it was basically everything they had discussed with me on the phone. I signed it and faxed it back to them. Dumb Dumb Dumb!

After a few months I received a call from my bank telling me they had a wonderful rate for cc processing. It was better than Landmark's so I called Landmark to verify some information and find out what I had to pay to buy out my lease. Landmark told me some ungodly amount of money so of course I questioned that. They said that $57/month x 43 months is $2451. Of course I told them my lease was for 24 months and had no idea where the 43 months came from. They informed me the lease I signed (faxed to me not very legible) was for 48 months I had the lease payed for 5 months and that was where the 43 months came from. I argued with them and told them that the initial phone call I received was for 24 months and the fax sent was not legible. They said that if it wasn't legible I should have called to verify the information on it or not signed it. If anyone has had any communications with either of these companies they tell you your calls are being recorded. Of course I had called when I got the fax. The phone call I had with them about the fax was never recorded, how odd, huh!

So here I sit with 2 years into this rancid company still paying on a machine I can't use, for whatever reason it has decided to die. Oh yes it's a worthless piece of ****! But wait there's more! I am the proud owner of this crap and there is no warranty on it because I decided to have the cc processing done by another company. This was in the small print of the fax I couldn't read as well. Word of advise to all out there! Don't sign anything unless you can read it and clearly, without hesitation understand it.
