Damaged boat and additional repairs were not performed as promised Purchased 2002 Stingray 220ds deck boat from owner John Carney who claimed the boat was his personal boat, although it was apart of his boat club rental program where we discovered extensive damage such as missing depth finder, damaged impellor, damaged fiberglass hull, dis functional shift cable, hole in storage liner of boat, trailer lights and blinkers not functioning and headlights don't work. After he sold me the boat, he claimed he was out of the country for weeks and could not help us. He also kept the spare key which made me fearful that he may steal the boat. Boat was purchased in September of 2013. So we have given john Carney plenty of time to remedy. We called him two days ago on March 5th 2014, and he claimed he is out of the country again. I then called his boat shop where I could hear johns voice in the background. He informed his employee to tell me he is out of the country again. We would just like John Carney to cover the repairs which are approximately $1,800. I would not like his shop to service the boat but to choose another mechanic who is unbiased.
