Landmark Chevrolet LIARS, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT Houston Texas

Landmark Chevrolet had and ad in the paper for a fully loaded 2007 Malibu for $9,900, it seemed a little funny but my husband went to check it out.

When he arrived he told the salesman what he was there to look at, the salesman took him to FOUR vehicles and told him that those were the vehicles in the ad.

My husband then called me at work and told me to meet him so that I could come look at the vehicles, I left work EARLY and met my husband to look at the vehicles that were in the ad.

Upon arriving at Landmark Chevrolet my husband told the lady up front who we were there to see and to please let him know that we are going to be out looking at the cars that he had shown him previously.

After walking completely across the parking lot toward the back, I told my husband that I couldn't believe they would have cars in the ad that far back, that makes me think that they are their damaged cars that are salvaged.

We looked at the cars and they seemed fine, the salesman met up with us and told me about all FOUR that were in the ad.

I chose two that I wanted to test drive, the salesman went to get the keys on the vehicles, about twenty minutes later he came back and said I am so sorry these vehicles are not in the ad, I said well are the others? I was then told no they were not, that they only had one and it had already been sold.

I asked him how that could be when my husband had been shown the same EXACT vehicles by the SAME salesman not more than 2 hours prior, the salesman then told me that he was sorry, that he is not in the used care area, well what the Heck is he trying to sell the cars to us for, why not get a used car salesman.

He then tried to sell us several different new cars but was not willing to get the price where we wanted it, we were going to pay cash for a car and was willing to go a few thousand over the $9,900, but didn't want to spend 18-20 grand for a car, we just wanted something better on gas than what I had.

Needless to say we DID NOT buy anything from them, as we left I expressed my dissatisfaction to all of the salesman that were just standing around laughing at people for leaving angry, I told them they should be sued, but I am sure they didn't care, they have no morals or they wouldn't work there.

The funny thing is this passed weekend and even just yesterday I heard their commercial on the Radio and they are still advertising the 2007 Fully Loaded Malibu for $9,900. I wonder what they would do if I called them and wanted to look at it, no doubt they would show me the same vehicles and upon wanting to test drive them then they would say oh I am sorry we only had one and it just sold. Screw them I am reporting them to the BBB and anyone else that will listen, they should not be allowed to do this to people
