I guess that I should have expected as much and I only have myself to blame. Heres the deal... Or lack of one.  When we got to the dealership the sales guy Mike had nothing ready for us even though we had a 4pm appointment with Jeff F.

Jeff F. had dumped us on Mike maybe 20 minutes before we got there. It took Mike 2 hours of driving us around to different lots in order to find a car we could even drive! The other car lots staffs were MIA and made it so the cars there couldn't be accessed. I was ready to call it quits when they drove us over to Karl Malone Toyota and showed us a 07 Chrysler Pacifica AWD. We were happy to take something out for a drive after two hours of waiting. The car was great and after them showing us a "sale" price of 16,855 on it and then telling us that they would give us a deal of 15,455. The car booked for 15K so I figured that 14 was a fair number. After some dealing they came back with 14,250. I didn't want to fight over 250 bucks. I should have fought! Jeff F. had told me that there "employee" price was 14,200 but I am home now and after I got the car I was looking online and found that Karl Malone had it listed for 13,990! SHAME ON YOU JEFF! YOU LIED! I guess you have to be a liar to work as a car salesman at LHM though. I should have known but Jeff should have given me the price Karl Malone was offering it for and that goes for Mike too! LHM I challenge you to make this right! You could have saved me 260
dollars and more considering that 19.49% interest is what my financing went up to when the price went down to 14,250 from 15,455. Also LHM I was quoted by Jeff that I would not have to come up with anything down and no payments for 60
days. When Mike ran the numbers he came back and insisted that we had to come up with one thousand down. Oh and my first payment is due on 2/14 today is 12/31.

Things Made Right

AUTHOR: Patrick R - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 14, 2012

I want anyone who has or will read my report that things have been made right. I was given a call by the finance manager Mike and I went back to the dealership on 1/13/2012 and he reworked the deal knocking 1400.00 off the price of the car/extras. The interest rate went up and the term of the loan was shortened to 54 months but overall I was happy with the price that they dropped the car down to and the fact that the payments stayed the same. I will not however retract my statements about Jeff F. If you go into LHM Auto mall DON'T deal with this guy. He has no respect for the people he sells to and in my opinion should get fired. In conclusion though the term of the loan was set to 54 months. The interest was set at 19.95% and the price of the car was dropped from 14,250 to 13,250 in addition they knocked 200 off the gap insurance and 200 off the warranty. I thank Mike for making me feel like I was treated fairly. It just goes to show that making complaints on here and with the BBB works!

Not a rip off

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

You could have disputed the price, the outrageous interest rate, the deposit and the due date of the first payment before signing the agreement. There is no rip off because you agreed to the terms.

You Were Completely Helpless, Right????

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, January 01, 2012

From the START of your in-person experience with this store you were treated poorly.  You detailed that very well.  So my question is, WHY did you even hang around for more???

If the terms and conditions of the financing were not what you desired or wanted, WHY did you just play doormat and accept this???

Come on now, it was quite obvious from your account of this event you were on the receiving end of GARBAGE service.  But yet, rather than use your feet to walk out because YOU are the customer and YOU deserve to be treated like GOLD, you simply stayed there, hat in hand, and accepted whatever crumbs they were willing to throw you.

YES I'm picking on you!  It was their fault they treated you like SHxx the first time but it was clearly your fault to stay there to continue to be treated like SHxx and then, in the end, you rewarded them by giving them the sale!

Incredible!!!!!!
