I signed up with LVAC a year ago( a terrible decision as I never am able to go) but I knew I couldn't get out of it and sucked it up paying the monthly dues. However, recently they have been charging me an additional 25 a month now on a separate charge. The first time it happened they said it was because my automatic payment had a problem and it immediately charges me $20 for it as a late fee(again made no sense since it was a 25 fee on my bank account) well recently I was going over my statement and noticed it again so I called and found out they've been doing it for several months now - it totals $200 as of right now. I even watched the account this month I had over $100 dollars in my account when the charge went thru it processed for a day and went through fine, then a week later I was charged again. also when I called the lady told me that I was set up for the 8th to charge, when I informed her no they had set me up for the 9th she said it wasn't even a possible charge date, but sure enough this month like all the others the charge came in on the 9th. I also received an email saying I owe them 75 dollars more. I feel like i'm being scammed and I really don't know what to do to get my money back.

The exact same thing has been happening to my husband for about the past 7 months. LVAC is pulling quite the scheme here. They claim they tried to collect their monthly fee on the 8th, but there was "insufficent funds" and they had to do it a day or two later. This is NOT TRUE. They then charge an additional $20 late fee. I caught on to their scheme, my husband contacted them, and they swore up and down that he didn't have the funds in his bank every month when they tried to charge him. As you know since it happened to you, this is not the case. He called his bank to find out if they ever tried to charge his account on the 8th, since the bank would be able to see if there were a charge that did not go through. They never once attempted to charge him on the 8th. There was always more than enough money in his account to cover their monthly fee. He then called LVAC back to inform them of this. They still insisted he must be lying. They said they needed to speak to his bank, so he had them do a three way call. Even after speaking with the bank, they now say they need a certified written letter from his bank proving this is true! Luckily, we have Chase, who are wonderful at dealing with this type of situation. They have taken the matter into their hands and credited my husband's account for the fees LVAC overcharged him. I suggest you do the same in contacting your credit card company or bank.

I would love to file a class action lawsuit against this company, as I have seen that they have done this to countless other individuals. This is WRONG. LVAC, SHAME ON YOU!!!!
