My wife was in need of a sim card to call US while on vacations in Madrid. Exaccta's booth was right after the baggage claim before the airport exit. Is the kind of service you would avoid if you have just a few minutes for a web research but their spot is perfect to rip you off if you are in a hurry after a ten hour flight.

The friendly clerk promotes the sim card for 15 but tells you only after he puts it in your phone that the minimum purchasable traffic value is 50 + 21% taxes = 78.45 minimum purchase. Swipe your card (I don't blame them at this point, you can always say no).

The clerks also tells you you can recharge online with any amount and there's no cost for inbound calls. Cool. The credit last about 10 days after about 60 minutes receiving from and maybe 20-30 minutes calling to US.

There's no way to check how are you using it since the website registration never worked (you can only check your balance dialing 187). Ok, so let's put few more bucks and use it for a few days more before throwing it in the trash.

There are two pages for credit recharge on their website with a minimum of 10

But none of them are encrypted. Mmhhh...I'd rather charge it by phone, also...wait a minute! What do I see in the rates page...she is paying for receiving also!

So let's call the customer care hoping is safer to recharge here. The customer care tells her the minimum recharge is 100 (what?!). When my wife asks for the attendant's name or for a reference # the guy hung op on her!

In the following days when calling her I have to try 2-3 times as I hear a menu in arabic and...no, I am not that skilled, I just want to speak to my wife.

I also have to mention that you can't see the number is calling you when you receive calls from this sim card (unknown number) and the coverage was bad, the line got cut several time (Madrid downtown, not the Sahara).

The only positive thing about this for me? I live 30 minutes from their business in Miami and tomorrow I will ring their bell...hoping to find something and that address.
