Laurence A. Hecker, LLC & Pinnacle Credit Services, LLC RIPPED ME OFF-made financial agreement then backed out and demanded more money! Hamilton New Jersey

I had an outstanding debt that I was trying to settle with First Consumer National bank. When I wrote the letter to Pinnacle Fanacial who was handling the account. A letter arrived from Laurence A Hecker, LLC stating he had the account representing Pinnacle.

He stated he had authorization to make a payment arrangement in two payments. When I said I could not make two big payments-they put me on hold and the "Supervisor" Larry Drew came on the line and stated-"They were authorized to accept $3050.48. My first payment was due the day we spoke May 8, 2008 in the amount of $1550.48 and the next three payments had to be in $500 increments June 10, July 10 and Aug 10, 2008 and the debt would be considered paid in full as a final settlement.

The letter states once the funds have been deposited and not returned from the bank I will be released from all claims and liabilities pertaining to this account. The week of my last payent I spoke to Mr. Drew and asked if the payment can be taken the 14 of AUG instead of the 10th of Aug. He said no problem--He will process the payment and after 2 weeks I should receive a letter stating the account is paid and closed. He also stated they will report the information to the credit bureau. This lawyer has collected $3050.48 from my account but did not honor his agreement.

After the 2 weeks passed and I did not receive my letter I called to request it to be faxed to me for my record. Mr. Drew stated he was with the attorney and will call me back. Apparently he dialed my old phone number but I called him later that evening and he started yelling and said I had not paid as agreed. He could care less if I ever paid this bill. He stated he have a draft pending right now because I owe another $500 and he will take it off the draft and leave the account open.

He said they will take me to court and make me pay and it will not come off my credit then in 10 years. I asked him why is he yelling at me and I have not raised my voice and he said he do not have time to argue with me. He then said it is not even in the file that I paid. He said I'm leaving your account open and hung up the phone. I had each payment record and I faxed to their office along with a copy of their agreement and a nice long letter complaining about the treatment and them not honoring their agreement. Now I don't even know if anything has been reprot to the credit bureas or to the original company-FCNB.
