Le Souk Harem Shallow and Discriminating behavior. New York New York

I went last night (March 21st) to Le Souk to celeebrate my birthday with my friends  and we all had to leave. My friend who's a promoter invited us. He told us that we'll go in for free but when I cgot there and the people at the door saw us they decided that were going to charge the guys $20 and the girls go in free. Then they started making stupid little excuses about this and that until finally they didn't allow any of us in. I saw other girls going in and I started wondering why. If they were invited by the same promoter I was invited why did they go in and I didn't. Then one of the guys in my group said, did see all those girls going in and the ones coming out? They all look like super models. Blond, skinny, model looking. I saw them turn down two girls that lets face it, they were chubby and they didn't let them in. The manager was so mean to us and I think that's very stupid that they have this type of "polcy".

In this day and age,not letting you in a club just because you (according to their standarts) are ugly, or fat, is not cool. Bad promotion for your business. This girls looked so puzzeld and couldn't comprenhend why they were not allowed to go in.

Shame on you Le Souk!! this is New York city and last time i checked the city is a big melting pot. If you have a guy promiting your business and saying "everybody" goes in free then deliver than. Now, if you say everybody gets in free if your're super model hot looking, that's another thing.

I will never recomend this place to anybody. We went there thinking to have a good time, celebrating my birthday which by the way got ruined and instead we were discriminated uppon.
