Alex from Lead Answer, formerly associated with Target Publishers, also thieves. They ripped off so many people they had to change their name. They would buy leads from other lead vendors and then sell old aged crappy leads to their customers and lie and then not give back money or refunds. So after years of lies and stealing they opened a new company called Lead Answers. This company will promise you the world, tell you all about how they are going to provide excellent high quality leads and then make you wire money... can you guess what happens next? They dont send you any leads and you dont ever see your money ever again! They should be in prison, they are all theifs, liers and should be shut down - they are being investigated by the state attorney general and the FBI currently so beware of this company and stay far far far away!

Further Updates to the "Facts"

AUTHOR: Neal - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 18, 2011

Hi,

Just wanted to let anyone and everyone know that Leadanswer is fraudulent. (see above comment) In the ensuing months since my last post the following has ocurred.

- Leadanswer NEVER supplied any "live transfer" leads whatsoever.

- Leadanswer NEVER replied to repeated calls and emails regarding status or request for a refund

- Leadanswer has been referred to the Illinois Attorney General as well as the BBB and has not
responded to either complaint. At the very least the above mentioned BBB rating will be taking a hit
as a result of my complaint.

Essentially, they are perpetrating a very cleverly disguised internet con game. Obviously, they are well versed in their craft and have done a good job of appearing legit....but they are not. After my experience of losing almost $1400, I inquired again under a different email address and, sure enough, got the same song and dance from the aforemetioned "Cameron Moore"....so don't think a little bad press will deter them. These guys are pros, and know how to manipulate the system and the elude detection.

When the heat gets to hot, they close up shop, change names, build a new site, and start raking in the cash once again.

Stay away folks...thats all I can say, because once you wire transfer money, you'll never see it again. Any company that offers only wire transfer as a method of payment should not be dealt with at all....too much risk on the back of the buyer.

Be careful out there......it's a jungle in the lead game and they are not the only fraudulent operator.

N.

Update to some of the "Facts" poste above

AUTHOR: Neal - (United States of America)

As a current "customer" of Leadanswer, I cannot assert with total confidence that it is a scam, but I do have my suspicions. Specifcally per the "facts" listed by the company...I can tell you with absolute confidence that some of them are not true.

Specifically:

- There are NOT many modes of payment for each client. There is ONE mode of payment, which places all of the buying risk on the client, and not on the service provider. This is an ACH or Wire Transfer payment. No credit cards.

- I sent remitted payment to them for 22 "live transfer" merchant cash leads in the amount of $1375. 10 days later, after a supposed ramp-up time of between 2-5 days, no leads have been received or transferred over. As a veteran of these types of call campaigns, I can say with confidence this means only one thing...they are not making the calls. My rep, when he chooses to reply, tries to placate me by saying "contacts are being made".

- It is next to impossible to get a live person on the phone there. The Customer service line starts out sounding legitimate, but then dumps you into a voicemail. Of course, callbacks are never forthcoming. My rep only emails, never answers his phone, and has begun to "hide" as the situation deteriorated.

-I have requested a refund, and am highly dubious of receiving it without legal action. However, if I do, I will update this board with the response I get.
