On Dec 13,2006 I call in to Leaders The Merchant Services Company,I was dealing with a sales rep.named Ryan Moss we were all day long faxing back and fourth because I was going to lease two mobil units for credit cards,so I fax the rep.all the paper work he fax me which it was not coming thru on a cleary readable way,but when the rep.told me I was going to pay $39.00
a month for each one,I decide to buy both units (2 way systems).

I strictly told the rep.that I rather buy them because I
did not want no type of contract,he respond that the only fees I will have to pay was the $17.00 dollars a month for the mobile fees and 1.64% plus 21 cents per transaction he fax me the credit
card forms and I fax him back.

Suddenly on Jan 4 2007,I am checking my bank acct. and my wifes acct, and I find out that my acct was charge for $55.00 dollars when I am not even using the unit yet and my wifes acct was charge for $62 dollars and change

I called the Leaders they tranfer me to a csr,who told me that that was going to be my monthly fee even if I dont use the unit

I called numerous times to speak with the rep.Bryan Moss, they were tranfering me to his voice mail and started leavng messages with no respond, I kept on calling and I ask to speak with a sales manager.

They started tranfering me over and over where everytime they tranfer me I had to explain the situation over and over, like they were playng games with me.

Like at 6:30 PM,I receive a call from the rep.Ryan MOSS,I told him that I feel that is not professional for him to deceive me like that in order to make a sale, because then he was rushing me to fax the credit card forms,he said i call you back in 1HR.

I also told him that common sense speaks by itself, because when I decide to buy the units was in order not to have to pay $39.00 dollars a mnth for each/one,and that I wanted no type of contract, only the wireless access which was to my understanding the fees he told me I had to pay.

So what kind of scan, is that he did with me that now they want to charge mine and my wifes acct for $10.00 customer serv,$35.00 retrieval chargeback, other 55 cnts
added together with fees that I cant even read correctly on the fax, plus the $17.00 monthly fee for the wireless access.

I am hoping your agency can help me with this situation because I feel deceieved, and I believe this is the biggest scanning I ever been thru.

I wonder what can make a person think, that knowing that I decide to buy in order not to have a contract with them and not payng $39.00 a mnth,I'm going to have a contract payng more over $55.00

"This is and sounds ridiculous"

thanks God Bless
waiting on your promptly respond

LEADERS prides itself on full and honest disclosure of its fees and this merchant signed for all the fees for which he was charged.

AUTHOR: Sarah - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, October 11, 2007

The merchant opened two accounts with our company on December 12, 2006 and also purchased two MTT 1510 wireless terminals. The merchant states he decided to purchase the equipment versus leasing to avoid the $39.00 monthly lease fee, as well as a lease contract. By purchasing the equipment the merchant did avoid paying a monthly lease payment however, this has nothing to do with the LEADERS credit card processing agreement and its associated fees. The merchant states they were to only be charged a $17.00 monthly wireless fee, not the $58.00 taken from one account and $62.00 from another account. All of our fees were disclosed to the merchant. The wireless fees as well as all of our processing fees are clearly stated in our Merchant Application, which was signed by the merchant.

The charges to purchase equipment have nothing to do with the monthly fees associated with a merchant credit card processing account. The contract the merchant signed clearly shows the fees assessed to the merchant, and we always urge our merchants to read their contract.

The merchant contacted our Customer Care Department to close one of his accounts. The merchant's account was closed on August 6, 2007, and as a courtesy to the merchant no, Early Termination Fee was charged. The merchant was also issued a refund for August monthly fees, for this account in the amount of $58.00.

The merchant continues to process credit card transactions on his second account. It is our understanding the merchant is pleased with our service, so we are very perplexed by the merchant's complaint. We welcome a call from the merchant to Corrie Fietsch our Merchant Services Manager at 877-538-3377, to remedy any other concerns.
