This family with the name of Lee Williams and Melodie Aduja, a previous member of the Democratic Party who was elected to the Hawaii State Senate of the Hawaii State Legislature in 2002 completely advertised false information on pure bred Labradors. Seeing that Melodie was a Hawaii State politician, makes me wonder why I was not more careful The family also owns Hawaii Pontoons LLC and Pacific Star Holdings LLC, what kind of false business are they running there??!! Answered an ad from the internet. The ad then and still reads that the puppies are pure breed labs for sale. I came to visit the puppies and of course they were as cute as ever! I asked Lee about papers and he said that the male was AKC certified and the Dam was not, but he assured me that she was pure bred and it was too expensive to get her papers. I should have never believed that information. I purchase two labs, now Alana and Apollo thinking that they were pure breed at the total costs of $1300. The family refused to accept my check, so I had to go to the bank and get cash saying that they couldnt trust checks Stupid me ran to the bank and got cash for the pups, so I took them home and several months our little girl Alana did not look like a pure lab breed, so we decided to get them both tested and sure enough they were not pure bred.

I called the family back and told them that they did not have pure bred labs and claiming that We didnt know. I later called them back and asked for some money back and was not received well at all! I told Lee that I loved the pups and did not want to return, but would like to recover some of the money that I had spent under false pretenses. He was in a hurry and couldnt discuss it and said that if I wanted to return the pups then he would refund the money and pretty much hung up on me. So lesson learned for me and YOU ALL out there if you know the family of Lee Williams and Melodie Aduja, do not trust them!! If they can do something small as falsely advertising for purebred puppies, what else would they do?? They ripped off so many people with their false advertisement. Every year, they have a new litter of purebred puppies and selling them for $800 per puppy!! STAY AWAY!!

Follow up report to Melodie Aduja

AUTHOR: Lan - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, February 05, 2011

This is a follow up report to Rip OFF Report submission on November 14, 2009.  I am glad to report that this unfortunate situation hasbeen resolved.  The seller has provided me the requested refund and Iam satisfied.  My two dogs are wonderful and thriving well. In no way should this experience hinder or dissuade any transaction whatsoever with either Lee Williams or Melodie Aduja and their business interests.  In this matter, there was a misunderstanding regarding my dogs' dam.The seller of my puppies believed that the dam was purebred since theseller of the dam represented that she was purebred.  This was a the misunderstanding from the very beginning. In my report, I mentioned the family of Lee Williams and Melodie Aduja were involved; however Ms. Aduja was not associated with mytransaction.  My dealings were only with Mr. Williams so all references to Ms. Aduja in my Rip Off report were incorrect.  Any and all allegations of impropriety by Ms. Aduja as a State Senator and amember of the Democratic Party and any other innuendoes regarding her business and professional interested were inaccurate.  This was simply me expressing my anger at the situation.  She had nothing to do with my transaction and therefore should not have been part of my Rip OffReport.  Her political career and political affiliations and her companies, Hawaii Pontoons, LLC, and Pacific Star Holdings, LLC, have nothing to do with my transaction.  Had I originally dealt directlywith Ms. Aduja, I believe none of this would have ever occurred.  Ms. Aduja is fair and honest.
