They will take advantage of those desperate for a job and will literally "hire" anyone. The interviewer will tell you the position you're being hired for will be a call center. LEI You'll actually be going door-to-door trying to convince people to set appointments for Window replacement. But you will not learn this until after you start training. The brochures you'll be handing to homeowners is extremely outdated and has many grammatical errors. Very unprofessional, yet they refuse to proofread and update, despite many complaints. You well be attempting to convince these homeowners that they have been selected to be a showcase home and that they'll be receiving the #1 rated vinyl window for over 50% off for allowing them to use their home for advertising purposes. That is not the case. The salesperson will total the cost, double it, then deliver that price to the customer. They will then say that since they'll be a showcase home they'll give it to you for half off. They will not be showcase homes. They say that they were Energy Star's partner of the year for the last three years and again last year. That is also false. It has been a long time since they were partner of the year. **Deceptive hiring techniques.** They will tell you the position your being hired for will be a call center. LIE. You'll actually be trying to convince people to set appointments for Window replacement door-to-door. But you will not learn this until you start training. You will not make anywhere close to what they tell you you'll make. No matter how hard you try. They claim you will only be working part time. No more than 20 hours a week. LIE. They fail to mention the excessive amount of meetings and the seemingly endless data entry. They claim the meeting are optional. However, they don't tell you if you miss these meetings you will be "free-lanced"(their fancy word for fired). After all is said and done, you're looking at about 60-70 hours as week. You will not be compensated for meetings or data entry. I do not recommend LIE Home Enhancements. There will be countless weeks where you will bring home $32/week paychecks. They claim you will only be working part time. No more than 20 hours a week. Yet, they fail to mention the excessive amount of meetings and the seemingly endless data entry that well take up your evenings and your entire Saturday. They claim the meetings are optional. However, they don't tell you if you miss these meetings you will be "free-lanced"(their fancy word for fired-but they can't say they're firing you otherwise they'd have to pay unemployment). After all is said and done, you're looking at about 60-70 hours a week,6-7 days a week. They insist no one works on Sundays. However you will be. Whether it be confirmation calls or data entry, you'll be working. You will not be compensated for meetings or data entry. Tax time? Well they "hire" you in as a 10-99 independent contractor. Any money you did make you pay all the taxes on in one lump sum. The owners promise they equip personally work with you to ensure success. They do not deliver.

I cannot speak to everything in your report, as I do not know the city you are in or the situation at that office. I can, however speak to the buisness tactics used by this company. The pitch, first of all, is a few years old, but it does say the date at the top of the title line, adjust accordingly. By the looks of it, you were a manager, which, they do tell you in the interview goes up in hours worked. This is a commission job aside from when you first begin, we all know that going in. Managers are paid in bonuses as well a higher rate for their own sales, and if your team is producing as it should, you are compensated. The company cannot pay for sales that have not happened. If you are doing your job and meeting the minimum requirements that you must meet to maintain your position you are being paid for that work. Again, this is a commission and proformance based job. I know how difficult it can be when your team isnt producing and you are not making money, but that is the nature of the job. I don't know your exact situation, so I cannot speak to the level of support and help you may or may not have had. I do know that the business model has to be followed, or the team will not succeed. If your leaders failed you on that front then I am truly sorry, we had the same issue on my team. We had to go back, reorganize, and hold people accountable. Now my team is producing,

and my reps are making what they should. This job is certianly not for everyone, but if you work hard, have the motivation to do this, and you get help when things are not working, there is absolutly no reason you cannot be successful, and I have seen this over an over. As for the salemen, this is how the business model works: a) yes, we do charge more for retail products, we cannot afford to give the promotion to everyone, this is a business. The reason we run the promotion the way we do, as in, "we cannot hold the price" is because we actually cannot promise that we can hold that price. When companies offer quotes that are good for 6 months or a year they are including any and all possible material upcharges. If that works for them then that's fantastic, but we don't want to charge for something that has not happened, when the reality is that we could end up getting caught in the price increase that does not allow us to a) pay our people, and b) even pay for the materials. As for taxes, there are a few ways to file taxes, whether it is one lump sum, or througout the year. We are independant contractors (though you do have the option to become an employee, which is also presented in the interview). I have written this to the best of my knowledge and ability, I do not speak for this company, only for myself and from my own personal experience. If I am incorrect in any of my statements then I apologize.
