Lenox Capital aka Freedom Resources ripoff Woodstock Georgia

In November 2002 I recieved a call from a man named Jeff Davis saying that he belonged to a company called Lenox Capital Freedom Credit. He said that I was approved for a Master Card for $4000.00 dollars. He told me to recieve the card I would have to pay $221.95 up front for a processing fee. He siad that the money would come out of my checking account on 12-2-02 and that I would recieve my card within 7 to 15 days afterwards. He gave me his number 678-239-0133 extension 218, and a confiremation number. He told me that if I did not recieve my card with-in 15 days to call him. I waited until December 20, 2002 I still did not recieve my card. I called the number given to me and after being on hold for about a hour I talked to a lady that told me because of the holidays they were running behind that if I did not recieve me card by the 24th of december to call and they would overnight the card to me. Well the 24th came and still no card so I called the company and talked to a lady again she said that they would overnight the card to me. I waited until the 28th of december and still no card so I called again. This time I asked for a supervisor but was told there was none there at the time. I called again on the 6 of January the 14th of January the 17th of Janaury. Today as of the 17th of January I told the lady that I would like to have my $221.95 back because I felt that I was being scammed. She said that I wasn't but they would send me my money. I know better than to believe this from these people. I have some questions That I wish some one could answer for me. 1. How long does this company get to operate before some one in our government puts a stop to it?
