*Consumer Suggestion: Contact Walmart
*Consumer Comment: Some helpful info, I hope
I purchased a Durabrand portable dual dvd player from Walmart and the unit has stopped working and I tried to contact listed manufacture but the phone number is disconnected, the customer service internet contact is no good either. Walmart does not care about my problem. My unit model number is PDV-722 and will not charge the built-in battery and does not work when connected to auto plug adapter. I just want info to get unit repaired.

I called walmart (corp. @ 1-800-925-6278) and they have agree to exchange mine for another of equal or lesser value.
Don't forget you had a contract with Walmart that they have breached.
offer acceptance consideration
they offered a product with a warrantee
you accepted by purchasing the product
you gave consideration in paying for the product.
Walmart has committed fraud by missrepresenting a material aspect of the product. that there was a warrantee.
If they don't pony up and correct the problem they have violated federal warrantee act.
Walmart was aware that the supplier was out of business and could not honor the warantee when they sold the product because Durabrand is trademarked by walmart. You can bet yearly earnings of walmart that they knew thier own supplier was out of business.

I have spent my morning going through similar search. I have discovered that lennox is off the hook literally. The firm to contact is now Funai, phone number 1-800-242-7158. I am searching for a replacement cord and may have better luck than you have. Good luck, let's keep each other posted. Jen
