Went to buy a home. Company did credit check only to find out in 2006 Liberty Acquisitions took me to court for a credit card I never had or knew about?? Never received a bill nor any information for me to appear in court..?? Only in America

Have you tried disputing the debt? If you're sure it's not your debt, you can dispute it with the credit bureaus. Google "disputing debt fcdpa" and you should get some very helpful sites.
