June 8th 2000 I purchased a monitor from FRY'S Electronics Sacramento, Ca. Model monitor was LP995 19in. made by LIKOM and sold as FUTURA and VIEWMATE. Right off the start I had problems, shaking screen and had to keep changeing resolution to center image. Fry's Electronics tech. center told me it was probably a video card glitch. I replaced my video card later and problem still persisted, was annoying to say the least. I contacted Likom by email at viewmate-tech@LIKOMUSA.com. and they refered me to an updated driver which didn't help..2 months later the monitor DIED....no screen at all. Fry's replaced the monitor as I purchased the extended warranty. As for the $50.00 rebate I emailed Likom 9 times in 13 months and still no rebate and I submitted all the proper things they wanted 2 times..I have all the copies of emails if anyone cares to see them.. I am not the only person that this has happened too. A friend never received his rebate either. Of the 9 times I emailed them I received only 4 generic emails back..What a scam! And try to reach them by phone! That was a joke also.
