Lincoln Street Shell Station Aka Ent Lincoln Street Shell cheap car wash ripped off my side mirror and victimized many consumers Worcester Massachusetts

I own a 2002 Chevy Tahoe- I've only had it for 6 months. Thanks to this rip-off car wash, I've already had my first repair.

I went to this stupid car wash a couple weeks ago (March 2003) just to get a basic wash after a cruddy storm. As soon as I put some money into the machine I began to think that it might be a mistake, but there was already a car right behind me and I couldn't back out.

I saw a sign that read "Please pull in all side mirrors" which immediately made me nervous.

I pulled into the bay and watched in complete disbelief as the the machine tore off the mirror on the passenger side of the car. I was outraged. As soon as it was over, I went into the store and asked to see the manager.

The manager, who speaks really poor English, explained to me that there was nothing he could do. "Insurance does not cover this. We have a sign. You must pull in mirrors."
I did pull in the mirrors like the sign said. I don't even have oversized mirrors. It didn't matter.

He even called his brother on his cell who then reiterated what the man said. Insurance won't cover it, because they have a sign. The manager then went on to tell me how he "Feels bad" because "it happens all the time." He said that people have their mirrors ripped off their cars all the time but there is still nothing he can do. RIP-OFF!!!!!!

I warn people not to go to this car wash, but it's the only one on Lincoln Street. Don't go unless you want to damage your car.
