Lisa Mahoney, a former friend and trusted business associate, can no longer be reached by telephone. Mysteriously, within a few months after you trust her with your money to invest, she disappears along with your money. For some people it was merely their life savings and retirement funds. For us, it was a fraudulent loan against our home (Thanks WAMU!!!). We were assured it was legal at the time, after all, she wouldn't risk everything she owned and her own "good" repuation to steal our money would she?
I wonder what Chamanade private school would think if they knew that money she donated to them was stolen from innocent people who's lives are now ruined due to Lisa Mahoney's greed? If only Lisa Mahoney was as generous and dedicated to all of us who trusted her with our personal money, as she is to her son Mathew's private school.....what a shame. I feel sorry for her son for having a mother like her.
We are slowly picking up the pieces of our lives, after filing bankruptcy and almost losing our marriage, but it has been a long slow process and we will never be the same. We especially will never be so trusting and have DEFINITELY learned that if it sounds too good to be true.....IT IS.
The iron bars are coming for you Lisa Mahoney.....we will not go quietly.

Lisa Mahoney has moved and the neighborhood is extremely happy. The people who have had to live near Lisa Mahoney for the last few years on Azure Hills Dr. in Simi Valley have had their own nightmare. Though it does not come close to the suffering the innocent people she scammed out of their hard earned money had to deal with, her neighbors have had to endure angry people driving past the house at all hours looking for her, camping out in front of her house waiting to get to speak with her, and even having people knocking on their doors looking for information about this criminal! Hopefully that nightmare will end now that she is gone and the house was sold (reportedly by the bank!). The new owners have been spotted around the house and we are ready to welcome them. There is nothing we can say that could change what Lisa Mahoney has done to you and hopefully she will receive full justice for her crimes. We are so sorry that she stole from innocent, hard working people. Hopefully now that she is gone our peaceful neighborhood can return to its quiet, normal self.
