I rented a house from this person. After a few months, due to job loss, I needed to get out of my lease. With the landlord's concent, I secured new tenants for her to review, and she approved of them. She then charged them individual security deposits, which makes sense.

However, we were in agreement that I would vacate the property, which I did. I then notified her by email that I had vacated. She has yet to refund my security deposit, even though the property was left in the same condition as when I moved in. She has failed to reply to numerous attempts to recover my security deposit.

I have no prior history of rental problems, and have never faced this before. Steer clear of dealing with her. Highly unprofessional to not reply to numerous attempts to resolve this on my part.
