On 05/30/2011 I had my vehicle (Black 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT) towed to Little O Tire located on 25714 S. Power Road in Queen Creek for repairs. My vehicle had lost a wheel while driving to where the wheel had completely sheered off from the studs in the rotor. At the time of the incident I had been told a day previously that my drive shaft could be giving me problems, so I ordered a new drive shaft from O'Rieleys. While I was awaiting next day delivery from O'Rieleys for the part I followed my vehicle to Little O Tires where the drive shaft was to be replaced. Little O Tire gave me a quote of $105 for 1.5 hours of labor to replace the drive shaft. I arranged for Little O Tire to have O'Reileys to deliver the part to them for them to replace the drive shaft once received.

On 06/01/11 I called Little O Tire to see what the progress and was informed that the repairs were done and that they were just test driving the car. I informed them that I would be there in their shop in about an hour. Once I arrived I was told that everything was okay. I asked them was the drive shaft damaged to their discernment and they said NO. They informed me that the drive shaft was not damaged and was in great condition. They said that they are saving me money by not replacing a part that was not necessary to replace. So I then asked them what did they do as repairs. LIttle O Tire informed me that all they did was turn the rotor, add 5 new studs, tighten up a strut bolt and but the wheel back on. Surprised and still concerned I test drove the car and didn't notice immediately any noises that I heard prior to the wheel coming off just a day before. However 2 days later while driving the noise and knocking game back. I immediately returned back to Little O Tire which then they informed me that they think it may be the wheel bearings. So I payed out $205 for a new wheel bearing and labor. After finishing I test drove the car and no immediate knocking or clunking sound heard before. However once again 2 days later the noise returned. I too returned back to Little O Tires with the still present problem. This time it seemed they were agitated with me and told me that now I need a drive shaft. I told them this is what I came in for you to replace initially but you didn't replace it and still charged me $105 to turn a rotor ($10), tighten up a strut bolt ($NA) add 5 new pegs to a rotor ($na). I was told that it would have cost me more then $105 if I didn't get it done through them, at which point I told them I could have bought a new rotor for $50 that didn't need turning and pegs and could have put that one for less then $105.

After being told that now I needed a drive shaft and that they were going to charge me another $105 to put it on and being charged $200 for a part that I didn't need I felt this was un-business like and bad business. I explained that I didn't feel that I should have to pay for the labor of the drive shaft being put on since I originally came in to have it done and they charged me the price to do so but never put it on. Also they made me pay for another part I didn't need which set me back now over $300 in repairs and the problem still was not resolved. My complaint is that they should not charge me to put the part on and that I should get my labor back for putting on a part that didn't need replacing in the first place (wheel bearing). This repair was to cost me only $105 and end up costing me $300+ with no resolution. I was told by the owner Raul who I was having the compliant with that it's not his problem, he doesn't care and that I should take it somewhere else. I asked for a refund at that point and was told absolutely not and to do what I need to do to get this remedied any which way necessary.

This is my compliant against Little O Tire. I want my drive shaft replaced with no more fees and $135 in labor refunded for a part that I didn't need immediately. I will pay for the part since it's on the car. But I don't believe I should pay for the labor since that was advised that I needed it and was told that I didn't need a drive shaft but later in my return it was told that I did need the drive shaft.
