Litton Loan Company ripoff by lack of info about increasing property taxes, increased mortgage payments, feel they have done no wrong Houston Texas

We were shocked by a escrow report that increased our mortgage payment from $386 to $786 it was increased to a higher property taxes on our home, but thishappen last year and we were not notify until this year when our annual escrow account came out.

Now this years are increased again to almost $2,000.00 and we are again looking at deficit in our escrow account. Litton says they do not need to address this situation, because they do not have to abide by Illinois laws and notify us of changes in our property taxes. The reason we did an escrow account was to have our property taxes and insurance paid, but now we at a place where we could lose our home.

Even if we pay the $2,900.00 our mortgage payments will still be high and it will began again next year with a deficit because of taxes this year. We could had fought the increase through our taxe adjustor if we were made aware of it, but now there isn't anything we can do. know one is at fault except us.

Can anyone give us some advise on how to handle this? we are afraid of losing our home or even having to go bankrupt due to this.
