To all Litton Loan victims,

Right now a full investigation is about to be brought upon Litton Loan Servicing and also a 50 million dollar law suit. In my case, all papers have been turned overed to federal, state and local governments as well as the FTC, Attorney General's office and lawyers from around the country. We need all those who have been victims not only at the present but also those of the past who have lost their homes. A lawyer from their firm has wrote an email to the Reality and Loan industries saying that "their companies are being targeted". The reason their industry is being targeted is because they have cheated the elderly, low-income and those who are sick out of the homes. They are now targeting the "Habitat Homes" that individuals buy through the Habitat program and targeting these individuals by uping their mortgage, mortgage payments and then putting them into foreclosure. The democrats are going to crack down on their practices and they are running scared. After suffering from cancer, Litton tried to take my home. They have up my house payment and through this process, my attorney(s) have now caught them red handed. To show you how deceptive they are: I fell behind because of a medical bill. They would not let me make a back payment. They ruined my credit history before I was even late and said a payment I made I did not. They then said I owed over 20000 dollars in back payment. I made the payment to catch it up. I received a statement from them and the statement showed I only made a 13000 payment and all is now caught up. What is wrong with that picture? WEll LET ME TELL YOU. My lawyer found that they fraudently added charges for insurance and taxes that were already suppose to come through the original loan. Not only that, they said Litton Loan is another Enron; taking money that is not theirs to take. We will prevail and the housing industry will need to make changes. yes, WE are after the housing industry and realators around the country. They are frauds and must be delt with. Please email me and I will send you all the information you need to contact the people for us.
Take care and God knows who is cheating!!!!!

Victim of Litton Loan

AUTHOR: Jbarlminiaussies - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 05, 2007

Litton Loan did us wrong for many, many years. If there is a class action against them I would like to know. Our downfall is, our house burned down May 6, 2007, and we lost all of our paper work we had against them. One good thing, last year we got away from Litton Loan. But sad to say, we went to another bad one, Option One, they are still fighting with us, and we don't even have a house to fight over.

Info on class action lawsuit against Litton

AUTHOR: Roy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 17, 2007

Litton Loan Servicing Class Action

On October 26, 2005, customers of Litton Loan Servicing, LP (Litton), filed a class action complaint charging the company with unlawful and deceptive business practices in its servicing of residential mortgage loans nationwide. Litton services more than 270,000 single-family residential loans of approximately $33 billion in value.

The suit was filed in Federal court in Los Angeles, California. Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, and co-counsel, represent the plaintiffs.

Summary of Allegations Against Litton

The complaint alleges that Litton has engaged in a scheme by which it fails to accurately service its borrowers' loans, including misapplying or failing to apply payments made. Litton refuses to correct these mistakes and uses the borrowers' alleged default as a basis for charging the borrowers late fees and other unwarranted fees, and for threatening or attempting foreclosure. Litton also charges unwarranted fees for hazard insurance on property that is properly insured.
The components of this alleged scheme include the uniform and common tactics of :
misapplying or failing to credit payments received in a timely fashion;
charging unwarranted fees;
failing to provide customers with timely or clear information about the timing and amount of payments owed;
prematurely referring accounts to collections and threatening or attempting foreclosure, regardless of legal and/or contractual grace periods; and
charging customers premiums for hazard insurance on property that is already insured.
