I too worked for liveops and I went through all the motions that thye needed you to attend and the whole certification they needed to make sure that your knowledge is validate of computer a No charge course to get you started a back ground check is all the cost that I had for 50 buck. I also need to incoporate that later on once hired I found out that the company (Liveops) would do for you too if needed. You could also work with your own SSI number so incorporation was not mandatory. They would also pay direct deposit. Once I got all the requirements they would run a test on your PC to make sure you have all the software or requirement to run the software for attending calls etc.

The scam is this one they get you in the make you take 25 practice call which they pay you for it at (.25 cents) a talk minute and you can only be on the phone for a certain amount of time with a customer or else that would be a pont for termination. Then after you pass the 25 calls that they make it sooooo easy for you to take the first 25 you get access tothe 3 days work week not the whole week. For you to get access to the whole week you need to take 500 calls and make sure that they are all dispositioned properly (under there rules). The problem is that they sometimes send you more than one call at a time and then you can t answer to two call at once so one calls gets disconnected, once that calls come up ans you answer it because you gotta answer it even if there is no one on the line becasue they record these calls you dispositon it as " No One there" at that point they make that your fault  and after you accumilate a feswof those you get terminated and they will only tell if you complain about there system ." That problem is on your end Agent you need to fix your hardware or internet provider or phone provider." When they terminate you they give you access to send send an email, that goesto someone but they never answer you. iworked for about 6 plus months fulltime and partime at all hours and all days and I am still fight to get info on my they ternimate me. I called the 1800-441-4700 number and pressed 4 to speak with a rep and they never answer before 11 am and when they did answer the lady told me you need to go to www.contractrenewal@liveops.com, but that internet address does not exist.

#3 UPDATE Employee

LiveOps is a great company - I have worked for them since 08/2008

AUTHOR: myangelbear4 - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, March 03, 2015

I have worked for LiveOps since August of 2008 and have supported a family of 5 as a single mother. It does take time initially to get out of the landing phase and have access to more of the schedule. It is worth it. They pay on time and resolve an issues with invoicing very quickly. They have even come back and paid me an incentive I did not know I had earned on several occasions. LiveOps does not "peddle" anything. They contract with several companies to provide sales, support and service for them. They are not in control of whether or not the product is "junk" that is on the company. I have taken a wide variety of calls from the food industry to licensed insurance sales. The company is consistently growing and improving. I am about to graduate with my BBA and seeking to work outside of the home for the first time since 2008. I will keep my LiveOps account active as you never know what can happen. LiveOps allowed me flexibility to work around my children's schedules and my school schedule. It is very decent income. Consistency pays off. At this time I average $15.00-$23.00 per hour depending on the line group I am representing. The negative remarks are ones I do not understand. I have referred many people who work LiveOps consistently and support their families.

The only downside is that there is delayed support if you have questions by the email system. In real-time you can ask an Agent Services Rep, but they are only able to provide “canned” standardized responses. They provide no technical support as you access their platforms. If you are sharp you can figure out all of those things yourself. There is no scam. You are an independent contractor who is paid to provide services. It's tough to get your business built but once you do the rewards and flexibility are so worth it. It is going to be difficult for me to leave my home based business to go out into the work space. I just have some career goals that LiveOps cannot provide.

Update on LiveOps

AUTHOR: easyman - ()

POSTED: Thursday, May 08, 2014

The fee to join LiveOps is now $65 much more than all the others.  So much as changed since this other posting was dated in 2012.

It  is a ripoff  in  that they waste your  time creating  false expectaions, and of course  over  charging for the back ground check.  As an example I am starting with a new company that only charged $25  for the exact same thing.

Also the  products they force you to represent, and you have no choice in the matter, it is all or nothing.  So much of what they peddle is garbage, and way over priced.  So the biggest ripp off is not to me but to all the people they have taken advantage of.

I am so relieved to be able to move on now.

LiveOps is NOT a "RipOff"

AUTHOR: Lauran - ()

POSTED: Sunday, May 05, 2013

I have worked for LiveOps for 6 years.  They have never never required agents to be incorporated.  You pay $50 for background check and start certification, which is really easy.  The pay on time and pay good bonuses.
