Liz French-Viking Collections Harrassment! She calls and harrasses my children, calls me and my boss at work, makes comments about other accounts not having to do with this debt. Phoenix Arizona

I must admit that I DO owe money to my Bank One Credit card. I was in a relationship for 11 years and used this card quite often. Bank One has since charged mu account off and was bought by Viking Collection.

The woman that continually harrasses me is Liz French. This woman will call my house several times a day. My teen daughter who is usually glued to the phone usually answers the phone. My daughter and I sound exactly the same on the phone, so when my daughter tells her that she is not ME, she is called a liar and further harrassed.
When I do get the calls I have tried to explain to Liz that I have no money now that my relationship had ended and since the credit cards are in my name there is nothing that I can do.

She now calls me at work several times a day, pretending to be a "friend" of mine and asking the receptionist all sorts of personal questions about me. I have told Liz over and over that her calls are putting me at risk of loosing my job and that she is not to call me at work. I do not hide from her calls at home, explaining my situation over and over to her. She has now started to call my job asking for my boss. I have asked her for her supervisor or a fax number so that I may inform them in writting that I am not allowed to receive collection calls at work... she never gives me this information and continues to harrass me.

If I hang up on her she will call right back. She has since called my ex-boy friends Mother... and 80 year old disabled woman, and harrasses my mother (who bother live in another city) who works at night. I was under the impression from what I have read that calls to other family members or friends were only if they could not find or contact me.

I also read that they are suppose to send you written notice after contacting you the first time. I have never received anything written from them. I don't understand why they think that harrassing someone is going to make them pay. I have a Bank One loan on my auto and Liz tells me that I better hope that Bank One doesn't put two and two together and realize that they have a lean on my vehicle because it will be bad new for me. I could go into more detail about the things that she says but I think that anyone familiar with Viking Collections would know exactly what I am dealing with.
