Llcellular sold a stolen cellphone Sherman Oaks California

i purchased a motorola i930 cellphone on july 6,2007, w/c i did not use until last month. the provider sprint informs me that the phone is on their hot list as being stolen. i email llcellular and they said for me to return item to manufacturer bec it is still under warranty w/them i called motorola and phone is out of warranty since january 2007. llcellular insist i should return to motorola bec it is still under warranty and they will provide invoice.
