 It seems that you have to pay for an appraisal up front but if your loan isn't made you get it back. Well, for whatever reason, (unknown) I was denied credit. When I asked for my $425.00 refund they said that because the appraisal was already done, I couldn't get the refund. Well, I know for a fact that an appraisal can't be done properly if no one goes inside and checks the electric, pluming, ceilings and mold etc, so I told them either I get the money back within 48 hours or I'd be going to the attorney general's office and would file a complaint. I got my money back two days later in the mail. The only reason I'm notifying you of this is because that company appears to be continually abusing consumer's and by rights, they should not be allowed to do business in this state with behavior as such. Just reiterating what so many others have mentioned in their reports to you. I did collect my money when I threatened to go to the AG's office in Phoenix.
