Lonestar Auctioneers, INC and the CIty of Ft. Worth are SCAMMERS! They ripped me off $5,500 on a car they sold me. Lonestar posted on thier auction website they were selling a 2007 Dodge Charger V8. When I purchased the car, it ended up being a V6 motor. When I brought this to their attention, they told me why I didn't run a Carfax report? Lonestar Auctioneers (Paula Hooper), the company I sent my money to, told me once they receive the money, it is no longer their responsibility how the cars are represented. They then told me if I wanted a refund to contact the City of Ft. Worth to get my money back. When I contacted the City of Ft.Worth they did come to the understanding that their description was wrong, and instead of refunding my money or sending me a difference, they told me I was out of luck or S.O.L. The person Paul Schmidt  that works at their vehicles service said he sent my complaint to his legal dept and the legal dept said ALL ITEM ARE AS IS WHERE IS, but even though they are in the wrong, they are sticking to their V8 story and saying that I should have done a carfax history report before I bought the vehicle. If you want to get screwed around from a company, then by all means bid on a car from Lonestar Auctioneers. They will take your money and run. Thank god for the internet!
