We recently moved from Chicago to Tampa and It has been over 14 days and still no confirmation of the delivery.   No one in the company has informed us or has an idea of when our things will be delivered.

From the start this company has provided unsatisfactory service. The company sales person (Tony) gave us a guarantee that the driver will come to pick up our things in Chicago on June 30th, 2011 either in the morning or afternoon and can only confirm when the driver will show up on the day of the move. The day of June 30th the sales associate does not call us to confirm when the movers will arrive. We call him several times before he responds to our calls. The driver (Mike) does not show up until 8:30pm to pick up our things. This was after we repeatedly called the sales person (Tony) to confirm when someone will be here to pick up our things. The sales-person gives us Mikes phone number rather than dealing with the driver himself. We call Mike and inform him that he was suppose to show up at 3pm and that we will have a hard time reserving the elevator after 5pm. Mike bluntly tells us we should reschedule the move. We inform him that we had clearly informed Tony we had to move on June 30th. Mike finally shows up at 8:30pm & 5hrs late, which was a big inconvenience to us. We then had to plead our landlord to allow us to move after 8pm, since the movers did not show up until 8:30pm. Therefore, we were charged $200 by our landlord since the moving was after-hours. Thats why we asked the movers come at 3pm! Mike never explained why he was late and was constantly on the phone during the move even when he was doing our paperwork. I informed him 3 times that we want our delivery date to be July 6th ,2011. He informed us that we should expect it to be there on-time. He then informed us that he has to charge us extra because just looking at the 41 boxes he felt that the quote estimated by the salesperson was incorrect. During the move we had to provide him tools to take apart the bed. We had already packed all of our things up assuming that the moving company does this often and will have adequate equipment with them to do their job!  In addition, we had to pay close to 75% of the new charge right there, even though our contract said we only had to pay 50%.  We werent allowed to pay the 50%, else they would not pack our belongings.  Afterwards, when we were filling out the satisfactory survey Mike stood right next to us and observed our responses. There was no sense of privacy.  On top of this, this was very unprofessional, Mike tells us that there is a 5 to 10% gratuity tip based on the estimate he gave us. He just started at us expecting us to give him a tip! On July 6th, 2011 we once again call Tony our sales associate to find out what time will the movers arrive. He never responds back to us. We call him all day as well Mike, the driver who moved our stuff. We kept calling the company and speaking to various individuals about what is going on with our expected delivery? No one helped us and the basic response we got was let me call you back. Hence, no one ever called us back. We were very disappointed with the level of customer care. We even asked to speak to the owner, once again we got a response that the owner will call you back. No one in upper management of this company has called us back. Since July 6th, 2011 we have been calling them everyday to find out when our things will get here. The manager (Yolanda) keeps informing us that they are unable to get a hold of Mike. Moving to a new city, not having our belongings, and dealing with individuals working for this company has been extremely stressful. No one has been able to help us and we are hoping that you can help us resolve this situation.
