Lowes And GE Money Creeping interest rates on Lowes card Internet

Sick and tired of credit card companies that are creeping rates up-I am NEVER late with a payment, always pay MORE than the minimum-and my Lowes card raised, without notification, my rate from 23 to 24 %-I know it is just one percent, but how much is ENOUGH???? I paid off the full amount ($2100) and will NOT be buying from Lowes again. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars there over the years, but I will go to Home Depot, they basically have the exact same items. I do not care that they (Lowes) did not raise the rate, GE Money did, BUT-they choose to do business with GE Money, so NOW i chooe NOT to do business with Lowes.

Do you honestly think it would be any different at Home Depot? I work for Lowe's and tell every customer that I sell to if they get the 6 months or 12 months no interest no payments to make SURE they pay it off within that time or they WILL tack on outrageous interest rates (20%+). I'm sure Home Depot does the same. I understand how costly improvements are and not everyone can shell out thousands of dollars at the drop of the hat. You know the consequences and you choose to spend your money it makes no difference what store it is or what card it is.
