Hired to demo old shower and install new one based upon his representation that he had years of experience and could do so in a skilled competent manner.  Mixed cement in large tub in our garage, leaving dried cement all over floor, splattered on refrigerator, washer and dryer.  

Tracked fresh cement from garage to house on recently completed stamped concrete that had just been antiqued and sealed, damaging surface of $12,000 job in several places.  Left trash and debris at side of garage on walkway to alley that included three empty bags of cement full of residue that deposited cement on new concrete that mixed with rain the next two days. Left trash and debris from demo in front of house adjacent to front door.

Took costly hardware into project, spreading parts around and leaving exposed, getting cement all over them.  May have destroyed new $140 drain, valve, etc.  Bent face plate for fixture, which had to be replaced by Amazon.  Stapled minimal amount of plastic sheeting he used onto walls.  Left bathroom full of cement on toilet, mirrors, etc.  Floor tile may have been damaged to extent it needs to be replaced.

When advised he hadn't cemented over exposed paper and wire mesh which would cause water damage-mold, he began setting tile over same.  

No grout lines - tile to tile, held up with nails as he cemented.  Dilapidated damaged tile saw he used chipped tile when cut, which he cemented on walls that were not plumb.  One-half inch off on plumb.

Total cost to repair-replace, clean-up from damage and gross negligence-incompetence is approximately $600.  The man also cashed two checks totaling $700.
