I saw an ad in the Speaking Out Newspaper in Huntsville, AL about receiving a loan whether you had bad credit or not. I called the toll free application # (866-828-6925), they got all my information and I received a call from M1 financial stating that I was approved for a $5000 loan. The lady I spoke with was Lisa St. Clair (fake name)and she informed me that I would need to send $685 insurance deposit via Western Union to Toronto, Canada. I did this.
Two days later I contacted them after not recieving any check from the lender. I spoke with a supervisor (Tony Horton) and he informed me that I would have to send an additional $685 because of my credit history. I sent half of the $685 and was getting ready to send the other and my friend who fell for the same scam informed me not to send any more money because she believed it was a scam. How in the heck do these people get away with ripping off people all over the country. They need to be stopped. If anyone has recieved any money please post it on this website, so others will know what to do!!!!!!
