We contracted with this printing company (after they kept calling us for business), and ordered a large quantity of "printed material"!
We gave them our prior printing samples and they agreed to create "exact duplicates, but much higher quality"!!!

They made us pay in advance and sent us several agreements stating that they "guaranteed their work or "money back">
Their work was very very substandard, the colors were materially different from what we ordered, and to make it worse they initially said that they "do not supply proofs"!
This turned out to be a "lie"!

After much back and forth with the manager (Mike Amann) all we got were more lies and even threats if we dared expose this terrible business.

They told us that we could have had a proof for $100,but this was only after they delivered the work to us (and we had paid in full),and when we complained they tried to blame everything on us-eventhough they had the original documents to be printed well in advance of their jog quotes and the actual printing.

No matter how hard we have tried to find a balance with this company all we get are threatening emails and calls and absolutely no resolution of the terrible job that they did.

We even emailed them to have the work picked up by one of our staff (to save appx. $185 for delivery that they charged),they told us they would call when the job was ready, but instead just delivered it and charged us for this.

Their work is very very poor, their service is even worse and we would highly suggest that nobody do any business with these people.

Addendum to reply

AUTHOR: Heaven Spa - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, July 18, 2010

After filing the reply this morning,I read the reply from Barry and see so many factual errors that I must add/edit my last response!
Nothing was sent to this company from our designer (as Barry FALSELY CLAIMS)!

Our graphic designer ONLY GOT INVOLVED after the quote from Bryon based upon HIS RECEIPT, as he requested, of our actual brochure to be reproduced!!Your claim that before we started the job "You uploaded files to our website---" is a complete lie-we mailed Bryon the original brochure and then he quoted from this brochure and never even knew we had a graphic desinger until he asked for specific type of files to be emailed to him-which our designer did as well as requesting (in writing numerous times) for Bryon to send "us" a proof!

If indeed, you (Barry the manager) found our file/case then why spend the time on this (or any of the other websites that are reporting this matter) writing a reply-why not call us and try to really see what happend?? If you truly were interested in "resolving this matter", it is rather obvious that you had/have no intention of correcting your "errors"!
Of course, we do not want the job reprinted "at your cost". We asked for the job to be reprinted when we received it and saw the huge mistakes! That is when Mike Amann became involved and tried-exactly as you are trying-to blame us and our graphic desinger for the shoddy job!

No files that were sent to Bryon Stout or to Mike Amann were incorrect as you claim. The incorrect statements (lies actually) are far from the truth. We told you that NEVER did anyone allow us to see any proofs! We all asked NUMEROUS TIMES (both on the phone and via emails) for proofs. All we were told is that "We don't offer any proofs but we guarantee our work)!!
This is all a lie as Mike Amann personally told us that for $100 we could have had a proof-but Bryon Stout told all of us numerous times that we could not have one!!

Since you have "voice recording of all calls" then we assume you will have no problem going to court and producing these files to the courts or to The BBB!!!

As for the delivery-read Bryon's email to us (the one sent just before the job was started and when he "took" the payment from us). He clearly states "I will call you when the job is done and you can decide on pickup or delivery! We all know he never called and just charged us $185 when we could have had one of our trucks pick up these boxes.

I'm happy that you now claim that "Our job was "a perfect match" to the original brochure sent to Bryon! Now,anyone who needs to see the two brochures (side by side) will clearly see the biggest error-NOT EVEN A CLOSE COLOR MATCH!

Once again, I am out of the country until 7/26 and will be more than happy to meet and discuss this entire matter with "Barry" at our offices upon my return. Since Barry claims he knows who we are (by the job #), then Barry should have no difficulty calling or emailing me to arrange to meet after my return on 7/26!

Just to end this-I had our office manager call Barry yesterday at 877-667-3530 (as he requested and since I am away) and all she got was a voicemail-she did not leave a message as this "reply" is our message, and I look forward to a phone call or email from Barry upon my return if he truly wishes to resolve this!

Again nothing but false excuses and lies!!

We expected this type of reply!

I am out of the country until 7/26,but felt this deserved another reply/statement.

Everything that is now being stated is 100% lies.

Our graphic designer ONLY GOT INVOLVED AFTER your representative (Bryon Stout and Mike Amann) gave us quotes based on the PHYSICAL BROCHURE sent to Bryon at his request. AFTER we received this quote we then had our designer become involved as BRYON asked for detailed files to be sent to him.

He (BRYON) had our physical brochures in his hand when he quoted the job.

I suggest you read ALL of his emails as they are very specific!
We have dealt with printers for many years with all of our companies and have NEVER had a more UNPLEASANT experience.

All these people (M.3 Printing) do is try to find one excuse after another to cover up their lies and fraudulant mistatements.

Anyone seeing the brochures that they delivered to us and compare them to the original ones given to them can clearly see everything we are stating.

A point in fact is I have the email from them telling us that when the printing job is completed they will call so we can either "Pick up" or have it delivered. How then can this "Manager" try to claim what he states. I will gladly post all of the emails from both Bryon and Mike Amann to prove all of our points.

These people are nothing but frauds-stay away from them if you value your money and the quality of work you receive!!

I was able to find this order by using the shipping cost as a reference point and also the shipping cost was correct. This was passed on by UPS due to the weight of what you ordered. At any rate I will now be able to respond to your issues since I was able to investigate this:

In a nutshell your graphic designer is responsible for every single issue that you pointed out. You uploaded files to our website and instructed our company to print your brochure, but since we did not design your brochure the proof reading and color matching is what should have been done during the graphic design proofing process. We have compared the files you sent us with the final product we printed and it is almost a perfect match.

I have also listened to all of the voice recordings and did not find one instance of any type of threat what-so-ever. Every single recording was professional and was a display of how things should be conducted. I also grabbed a copy of all email correspondence and was unable to find any type of threat there either.

With all of that being said we are definitely not here to profit off of anyone's misfortunes, but this is an issue that you should take up with your designer as they either used a wrong version of the files or did not guide you through a proper proofing process.

Although the end product was not what you were hoping for it is not fair to blame us as we are only as good as the direction we are given.

If you would like us to reprint the job I would be more then happy to do it at our cost.

Please identify yourself

POSTED: Thursday, July 15, 2010

My name is Barry and I am a manager at M3 Printing. I have read your dispute and would like to rectify the situation, but first I must make a few comments as something does not seem right.

"We contracted with this printing company (after they kept calling us for business), and ordered a large quantity of "printed material"!"

>>Please provide your order number so I can look into this for you.

"We gave them our prior printing samples and they agreed to create "exact duplicates, but much higher quality"!!!"

>>We typically gangrun our jobs, but can also provide commercial printing services. It sounds like you may have received a gangrun product, but were looking for commercial printing....although this is hard to say without more information.

"They made us pay in advance and sent us several agreements stating that they "guaranteed their work or "money back">"

>>All payments are made upfront, but I am unfamiliar with any type of agreement that would have been sent to you. We have terms and conditions that are listed on our website, but we do not send anything other then receipts and tracking emails. We also do not have any type of money back gaurantee. If you were sent anything of the sort please forward it to my attention so I can personally investigate this for you.

"Their work was very very substandard, the colors were materially different from what we ordered, and to make it worse they initially said that they "do not supply proofs"! This turned out to be a "lie"!"

>>What standard are you basing your statements off of? Also there may have been a communication breakdown somewhere as we CAN provide hardcopy proofs, but do not provide hardcopy proofs by default when ordering a gangrun product.

"After much back and forth with the manager (Mike Amann) all we got were more lies and even threats if we dared expose this terrible business."

>>Again, please identify yourself so I can properly investigate this matter. We record all phone conversations for quality assurance and rest assured if there was any wrong doing on our part it would be my pleasure to get to the bottom of it!

"They told us that we could have had a proof for $100,but this was only after they delivered the work to us (and we had paid in full),and when we complained they tried to blame everything on us-eventhough they had the original documents to be printed well in advance of their jog quotes and the actual printing."

>>I know I keep repeating myself, but please let me know what the order number is

"No matter how hard we have tried to find a balance with this company all we get are threatening emails and calls and absolutely no resolution of the terrible job that they did."

>>Who is threatening you and how are they threatening you? This is bothering me as I have never heard a complaint of this magnitude and this is absolutely not typical. I am sorry you have had a bad experience, but hopefully after you provide your information it will allow me an opportunity to rectify the situation.

"We even emailed them to have the work picked up by one of our staff (to save appx. $185 for delivery that they charged),they told us they would call when the job was ready, but instead just delivered it and charged us for this.

>>$185 seems very very high. Was this sent via UPS or delivered by one of our couriers?

"Their work is very very poor, their service is even worse and we would highly suggest that nobody do any business with these people."

>>I can assure you that all of our products are excellent! Sometimes jobs need to be reprinted, but the final product always meets the highest standards...if it didn't there would be tons of complaints online and we would cease to be a viable company.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but please call me directly at 877.667.3530 and ask for Barry. If you do not want to call me, then please send me your number and I will contact you.
