Mabe Trucking Company, Inc. Poor management and Driving screening...this company will hire drivers no other company would dare touch without checking references Eden North Carolina

Mabe Trucking out of Eden, NC has poor driver screening procedures.  They will hire drivers with abandonments, dishonorable discharges from the military, destruction of property charges, violent felons with gun charges, basically just a warm butt in the seat of a tractor trailer will do for these guys.  The vast majority of their drivers can't get work anywhere else and should not be on the road.

For example, there is one driver in particular, Mr. Leroy I. Walker who had a dishonorable discharge from the military for stealing soldiers' personal information (identity theft) and lying under oath.  The military suggested that he never drive any motor vehicle in the future.  This guy destroyed a tractor trailer by negligent practices and constant lying to company officials at the former trucking company that took a chance on him.  Mabe Trucking never investigated his past via an employment verification nor did they look into his background.  He is currently employed by them driving a tractor trailer on US highways hauling freight.  This felon is one of many of their current driving force.  Rumors has it, their recruiters are sent to the local prisons and probation offices to recruit their drivers.

This trucking company needs to be investigated by FMCSA immediately for negligent driver screening practices.  As a shipper, don't be surprised if your load comes up short.  Check their FMCSA scores to ensure they are a safe company to ship your products.  They are very unsafe!  Your freight may not get there on time or not at all...felons are not afraid of stealing out of the loads.
