I replied to a web designer opportunity on Local craigslist job board and was in contact with an individual that was offering a job for designing 5 websites for $700/week pay.  After a few emails back and forth they said they were going to send a money order for first weeks pay and additional funds "for supplies" which would need to be sent back to them.  They were not interested in signing my company design contract but insisted on sending the "paycheck".

Today I received the "paycheck" which was supposed to be a money order.  It was a real check drawn from TD Bank N.A. from Franklin, NJ.  I became suspicious and contacted the bank, they mentioned that the account number on the check was valid but that no checks were allowed to be drawn from it.  

I contacted Kallman Worldwide, INC and spoke with their accounting department, they verified that this check was indeed a fraudulent check and also stated that they have had multiple other callers today with the same question.

Obviously a fraudulent deal.  Usually I don't even waste my time with people like this, but thier story did seem somewhat convincing.

Their obvious goal is hope that people ignore the tell tail signs of fraud, deposit the check and send them a percentage of the check back to them, meanwhile, if you were to deposit the check, it could take 1-2 business days before your bank declares the check invalid and your out the full amount of the check.
