Maid Brigade - Cliff Keith not paying employees their wages/ pay checks bouncing Winston Salem, North Carolina

I worked for Cliff Keith's company Maid Brigade based out of Winston Salem NC on July 19-21,2012 and also July 23-25, 2012. I recieved my paycheck for the week of the 19th but cannot get my paycheck for the week of the 23rd. I have repeatedly gone to his office and called him and he will tell me to come in at a certain time but he will make sure he is gone and the office locked when you show up. He also still owes me 2 mileage checks one for the week of the 19th and 1 for the week of the 23rd. I have been to the labor board, Cliff Keith's corporate offices, an attorney, and I have even resorted to being on the news about him, and I am still getting the run around about my money. I am not the only one either. Several other girls are trying to get their paychecks also.

I went to his office on August 5th, 2012 at 4 pm like he told me to and when I got there once again the office was locked up. I then called the police and as the police pulled up Cliff Keith showed up. He automatically started telling the cop it was civil and he had no right being there.

The Deputy couldn't make him give me my check and Cliff Keith told me in front of the deputy that he "lost" my timecard. That same night at 8:46 pm Cliff Keith called me at home and told me he had my check and told me the amount which was the amount I had figured up also. He then told me it was in my best interest to contact everyone I had contacted and tell them I made a mistake and received my paycheck while in the presence of the deputy. I told him nope wasn't calling anyone until I had my money. He then told me I was "ignorant" and said he couldn't deal with ignorant people I then got mad and hung up on him.

All I want is what is owed to me, what I worked for. He waited until I was going home on July 25,2012 to give me my I-9. Six days after I started working. When he contacted me on August 5th he told me that he was going to tell everyone I refused to sign my I-9. My response is if I refused to do my I-9 why did you work me??? It's against the law not to do the papers for taxes.
