RIP OFF LETTER BELOW
What a rip-off company. This company made my life a living hell. This is the worst builder ever to build with. Why are they the worst here we go?. In 2004 I signed a contract for majestic to build me a home.

They welcomed me in there office with lots of smiles and promises. What a rip-off any way they did not provide my house in a timely manner. The entire building process was a night mare.

The customer service is like talking to 2 year olds they do not know their heads from their feet. Pure promises they never return phone calls never answer to faxes they just never. Words cannot explain the terror I went through with this company.

To make a long story short they claim to finish my house after multiple failed inspections and years of torture.
At the walk in /walkthrough the house was completely flooded the downstairs that is. Majestic refused to fix the problem the water heater exploded which even at this moment was not replaced just repaired I believe.

I hired an inspector to check the home and he found over 100 flaws or things that was not corrected or even done according to the code of the state. Have the pictures and reports to prove this. My house was found to have numerous amounts of mold and mildew not as a result of the flood.

Hygienists and mold/mildew companies came and tested this problem and pages and pages of bad infectious germ was found in this brand new provided home.

To make a terrific/horrific/nightmare of a memory continue let me make it short. I hired a Lawyer which in turn agreed with majestic homes to hire a outside person to determine the extent of the damage. This includes what to fix and how to fix this, mind you majestic choose this person need I say more.

Again to make a long story short they were bound to fix the problem. The workmanship is/was poor nothing was done properly, they sent out a bunch of cheep workers to fix the problems. I am guessing they were paid minimum wages because the work they provide was yes minimum.

Today as I am writing the work is still not completed I still have holes in my bathroom, closets/cabinets has not been replaced as the mediator supposedly stated what a rip-off. Everything in the house is falling apart. The stove is breaking. the bathroom racks have fallen done, water is now a permanent guess in my bedroom and living room.

I read a rebuttal from the owner from a previous complaint about all the accomplishments, teacher of the year, extreme makeover BLA BLA BLA CRAP. It is ok for him to do one good thing in this world. What good is the degree if almost the entire community is upset with this company for poor work and 100 million complaints.

Who rates this company the number one builder anyway I bet they do not have a home from majestic like me/us. The rebottle was just another way to advertise his company will the real /honest builders please stand up. Thank God the market in Florida is now slow and they are feeling some of what I felt.

For the few who wish to build their dream home in the acreage in west palm pleeeeeeeeeessse investigate the builders and please learn from my mistake it does not get any better.
Do not get caught like the rest of us make sure you understand the terms and conditions first don't look at the years a company has been in business, the college accomplishments, don't look at the one good thing a company do.

What I do suggest is know on any door of a previous customer's home not even mine and talk with them about the builder ask them questions about the customer service, ask questions about the house that was provided and chances are you will be able to pick out the spoiled apple from the bunches.

Thanks a million for listening to my still continuous night mare and understanding that it is not a dream or a makeover.

About Majestic Homes:
Majestic Homes is a custom builder.
Built thousands of new homes in Palm Beach, Martin, St Lucie, Indian River, Brevard, and Sarasota counties.
Full-time Customer Service Department and Warranty Department.
Majority of our subcontractors have been doing business with Majestic for over 20+ years. There has NEVER been a legitimate lien on any home.
Majestic Homes has financially helped numerous homeowners with extra costs and fees incurred by the homeowners from the lending institutions.
Majestic Homes is the sole provider of the Superior Wall System in Palm Beach County. Pre-cast solid concrete walls, 400% stronger, with nearly 300% more insulation value and able to withstand 235mph impact.

Facts:
Our contract states that Certificate of Occupancy will be issued 12 months from the date the slab was poured. Currently offering 7 months or we pay the Buyer $2,000 per month.
Contract signing is not the same as closing on your home. Closing has to do directly with the Buyers such as credit, employment verification, etc. which Majestic has no control of, which would affect the delivery time of the home.
Every buyer meets with the Builder for the plan review of custom designing of their home.
All home buyers have a pre-drywall meeting at their home with the Builder to further reconsider any changes or additions.

Possible Reasons for Delays:
Each home buyer provides their own lot, which again the Builder does not control. A home-site could possibly have unknown setbacks or requirements, which could cause delays in permitting as well as construction. Environmental issues may also cause delays. All home buyers are asked to have Majestic investigate, at no cost, before purchasing.
Customized plans could lengthen construction time, however, this personalize the home for our families.
Builder provides walk-thru's to Buyers at interior framing. If there are any changes requested by the Buyers to the interior design of the home, this would cause a delay.
During 2004 and 2005 Hurricane Season, South Florida endured numerous hurricanes causing delays by all building departments and field work. One of the Building Departments closed down and relocated their offices and numerous plans were misplaced.
Shortage of building materials due to the damages caused by the numerous hurricanes.



Homeowner signed a contract in March 2004 and closing in April 2004. Homeowner claims that after multiple failed inspections and years of torture, the builder was able to finish her house. As previously indicated, the hurricanes from 2004 and 2005 were a major factor in delays of homes being built in Palm Beach County.

However, on January 20, 2006, a certificate of occupancy was issued on the home. At the time of the final walk thru, the hot water tank ruptured and flooded the first floor of the home. Builder had subcontractors go to the home and replace the hot water heater. Furthermore, an additional subcontractor removed all wet carpet, pads, etc and installed air blowers and dehumidifiers, etc.

On Feburary 3, 2006, homeowner hired an independent home inspection company. A majority of these items listed by homeowner were minor and satisfactorily addressed, with the exception of the mold.

On February 6, 2006, a mold inspection was performed. It was noted in the report that the air conditioning unit was inspected for damage, coil clogging or leaking. The coils were clean and the unit was turned off due to the high humidity although it was turned on for a function test during this inspection.

Homeowner claims that due to her hiring a lawyer, the builder was now bound to fix the problems. However, as previously noted, when the homeowner provided a list of items that needed to be addressed as per her inspection report of February 3, 2006, the builder immediately addressed these items.

On February 15, 2007, an additional property inspection report was performed. This report indicated that the inside of the house was reading at 88% relative humidity. This is high and conductive to mold growth, however, the report further states that there was no mold growth or mold damage observed. The report also states that the HVAC system has not been running to remove the humidity.

Also stated in this report, it indicates that the carpet on the second floor have expanded due to high moisture levels and humidity, which according to this report, could have been avoided should the homeowner kept the humidity level at an appropriate level during this time. However, the builder had the carpet re-stretched.

However, all items listed in this report were addressed and corrected.

On July 23, 2007, homeowner called builder to indicate that the house had water coming in from the outside.

On July 24, 2007, the home was inspected by builder with a superintendent. It was determined that the homeowner had the landscaping place higher than the finish floor, probably causing the block to leak. This is the responsibility of the homeowner to correct as the landscaping was done by the homeowner after receiving its Certificate of Occupancy.

All other items addressed in her report such as concrete cracks that are settling cracks to ants are all part of general maintenance of owning a home.

As a final point of this rebuttal, on May 11, 2007, representatives from the builder were working on-site and were instructed by the homeowner, the person who wrote this report complaining how Majestic Homes was such a rip-off, to advise any police officer that she was not at her home. Of course, this was not true and naturally, the police officers arrived.

I am still fighting with this company

I will not stop until america realize/ understand the real truth about majestic homes. I am still fighting with this company my cabinets are still untouched but yet they claim to satisfy all customers what a ripoff company.

My house is still filled with mold and mildew my child constantly coughs as she enters this house from the stuffiness inside and the old dirty water smell from the initial flood that was just covered up by majestic homes.

Last week I arrived home to find giant size ants in my bedroom from the obvious crack in the base of the floor that was brought to the owners attention months back. The girls constantly complain about the big giant size hole in the upstairs bathroom.

Did I mention before that the brand new carpeting that was provided had to be replaced and still not properly done pure cheapness. Oh this is great just about all the nobs on the kitchen cabinets are falling apart.

South florida residents beware of this company every one so far that I have spoken with has nothing good to say about majestic homes I have yet since my investigations knocked on one door who agrees with there mission statement building homes and dreams and providing good service. If there is such a person I would like to meet them in person.

Again if they/he the owner is doing so much good in the community giving away free homes BLA BLA BLA to people who did not give him a dime. You think after spending thousands in upgrades and purchasing the larges house that was available he would make me and my children happy. But just to get recognition from god knows who he help a poor family. Don't forget the ultimate judge is up above.

For the record all majestic customes in the acreage that I have spoken to about the company feels the same way I do. And if there is one out there that disagree again I would like to see their hame and talk with them personally.
